Gnomecultism is a very dumbed-down roguelike/top-down shooter. You're a member of the cult praising The Dark Lord™. However, during one of the routine rituals, you suddenly hear a bang on the door. Behind it awaited your worst fear. Gnomes.

You're the only cult member that survived the attack. You're hiding out inside a closet. A conveniently placed portal gives you an idea for getting rid of your sworn enemy. You will venture through the basement, to the biggest Dark Lord™ summoning circle you know about. Surely HE™ can get rid of them!

Your ammunition, GNOME SOULS, also acts as your health and currency, which you can use to purchase temporary special abilities: A guarding sphere, a force field and a rapid-fire mode for your attack.

I was so close to finishing this. Bummer.
