You wake up in what seems to be a grey colorless castle. You have no memories about yourself and the only thing you can see is a soft, shiny floating thing similar to a teru teru bōzu doll which holds a letter:

"When you read this letter, the Black King has drained the color from the six water crystals in this castle. To bring color back to this kingdom, you need to give these crystals back their colors. Remember you hold the power within you..."

Though the letter is unfinished, you embark on your journey. Use your wits and chess skills to restore the colors of the crystals, unravel the secrets of the kingdom and regain your memories.
