Having only little time to invest into Ludum Dare this time around I kinda liked the idea of a browser extension as "game engine".

This game is about finding the one element that is different between two tabs of the same webpage (well, except for the one change of course). Navigate to the webpage you want to play on and click the extension icon to begin playing.

You can delete elements that are in the way of your search for the difference by clicking on them. But be ware: the more you sacrifice to narrow the search down, the lower your score will be!

Almost all default behavior of links, etc. should be disabled. I couldn't figure out how to get a completely static website to play on though, so you may be kicked off the site and not be able to continue the game. Sorry :/ please just restart...

There's a local highscore list for you to track your attempts. Choose sites with more elements to get a higher score or complete the search faster.

A good site to start on is any Wikipedia article, may I suggest this?
