DEEP LD by Atikyne

[raw]
made by Atikyne for Ludum Dare 48 (JAM)

screenshot-1.png

Get to the exit at the bottom of the sewer!

Directions

:keyboard: Arrow keys or WASD to move.

:door: Reach the exit at the bottom of the map.

Notes

Everything by Kentiya.

There's no sound or things chasing you around because I did a dumb and tried to learn a new game engine for the first half of the jam before giving up and using what I knew already. Don't try to learn a new engine during a jam!

I didn’t minify the source code, so feel free to take a look!

Nice and simple, and loads almost instantly, I'd love to be able to say this for most games here :D

I made it to the end of the maze !

Very simple and minimalistic maze game ^^ I found the minimalistic art style pretty cool and the game itself is pretty done. The only think I would have added as polish is maybe a walk animation and some calm music or something. But it's a really good take on this going deep idea. Good Job :)

I think its a really good starting point. I like the graphics, its pretty simple but clean. From here you could add some pittfalls and stuff. But good job indeed

Rather fun mini game, the graphics are very simple and minimalist, the controls are very practical, too bad there is no music.

Mini jeu plutôt amusant, les graphismes sont très simples et minimalistes, les commandes sont très pratiques, dommage qu'il n'y aille pas de musique.

I just reached the exit! Nice and interesting idea! Maybe it will be more challenging if there is some threat or enemy which will keep chasing the player. Nice works!

I didn't realize that the game auto started in the browser, I thought it was a screenshot and I was sitting there scratching my head where to find the download!

Would be nice to have some sort of challenge tho, else it gets pretty dull to walk. Luckily the exit was not too hard to reach.

Really basic game design and a bit dull, but good programming and art. Nice minimalist code (thanks for leaving access to the source). The movement Is super smooth, which is not a given for web games ;)

Controls and art were great, but the game itself feels like its missing something (like an enemy or something) to raise the stakes a little.

The game is really simple but good job completing it! I managed to find the exit :-)

I'll keep your advice to don't try to learn a new game engine during a game for the future! XD

Good luck with your ratings!

Last minute effort to save your game from the danger zone, but lets go: simple graphics and mechanics, but they are well implemented. Consistent entry, congrats

Okay, turns out it's webGL, but I thought it was a screen shot :/ Good game. Only thing: would be cool to keep momentum when you fall and not just stop in place
