Good job!
@kernon the names of each king refer to the item to interact with, and the numbers refer to the order.
so Arpeggion = harpsichord
Cathodic = tv
Biblos = bookcase
Anyway, I'm leaving this comment to remind myself to check back later.
feel a little hard to solve this , may be the first puzzle can be just a clock,lol~
I appreciated the ending :D
Great job!
PS: Thank you so much for blessing deepr with your lovely words of wisdom!
PS: I try. :wink:
**+** funny and entertaining puzzles
**+** I want to believe
**-** I wanted to waddle faster
**-** Those dudes running off blasted me with footsteps
**-** It could use a bit more content & sound effects for interactions
Short but good at what it's going for!
At first I was a bit irritated about the walk sound (seemed too loud). After a while I got used to it.
* Clock input was a bit annoying - you could only click on the edges to move up, and if you clicked too much it was a long trek around again
* The walking sound could be dropped a little, it was a bit loud
Maybe a smooth movement would help, still had a lot of fun.
A lot of notes, but overall a good start! Lots of stuff to pack in during a jam, really good.
For me, the most irritating part of this game is the character's footsteps. They get very, *very* repetitive, especially with the slow movement speed. Luckily you don't have to wait for him to actually walk to an object before you can interact with it. The graphics also aren't the greatest, but that's understandable considering the short length of the jam period - if you're a coder and not an artist, you're gonna struggle in this area.
There are some improvements that could be made to the puzzle interactions as well - I have no idea what the solution to the final puzzle was, and it wasn't immediately clear what the final step of the third puzzle was. But there's a solid base here, I think, for you to build upon in the future.
Good luck!
I have one small suggestion, have buttons that can be clicked to interact or close the textboxes in addition to Spacebar and i. That way, the game can be played with 1 hand.
I also found a bug: The bookshelf's textbox was empty, so I had to randomly guess I had to press i.
Keep up the good work!
set the clocks, start from the top, i left a note, you're not too bothered i hope.
