Nice clean graphics, and the music gives a nice and relaxing feel, even tho I'm stressing shortly after start..
Allround nice job.

Excellent work!
My best score is 254, which to be honest was a lucky outlier :)

Bonus points for the biographies of all the characters in the intro!

A well polished and fun entry! The gameplay felt solid and the difficulty seemed well balanced. Extra lives and bombs appeared just at the right time, and there was a nice risk vs reward when collecting them (I lost a few lives trying to collect bombs). It's a fun entry that would make a great mobile game if you had the time to port it! The fish in the menu text was a nice addition too. Congrats on your entry! :)

Nice work once again, you two make a good team :)
The intro scrolls too fast and I missed it the first time, also instead of it repeating in the main menu maybe have one of the options, something like "Info" or something.
The controls were a bit hard to manage, and it makes you freak out easily and waste all your missiles.
Also "incoming missiles" don't look like pickups at first, and I almost dodged one.
Great music as always! Good job!

High score: 615! A LOT of fun, easy to play, and I agree that the fish intro should be accessible from the menu. It was scrolling by a little too fast for me to catch it all. The only advice I could give is to have the fastest fish appear later in the game, as when they appear right at the start (when spawning), they move so quick, they're difficult to avoid (I spawned by them, so torpedoes were out of the question).

Interesting take on diving down, pure and simple. Also, it's one of the brightest submarine games I've played so far! :)

However, I've found the lack of control over submarine a bit frustrating: being able only to steer away from fish and shoot down on velocity this low feels lacking, 20% of playtime I felt like I do nothing, just waiting for time to pass. This can be addressed in many ways, the easiest of which is to increase downwards speed, decrease horizontal speed a little and give the submarine a smaller hitbox for it to be able to navigate narrow passages. But perhaps, it would be a complete different game with a complete different mood. :)

All in all, I had fun playing the game! Here's my playthrough:

Audio, graphics, and feel of the game are all so nice. :-) a little fast on the left and right in the sense that i felt like i had a huuuuuge butt smashing into everything. xD Torpedoes were cool till i got barbaqued by electric exploding eels. got to about 508. Others seem to have gotten a lot further down!! Liked how it got darker and darker the further you went.

I loved this entry. It reminded me of one of my favorite Vlambeer games. Everything was well done. Great work!

Nice Use of the Kenny stuff and great music.
The Game just works like a charm and everything fits very well together.

I loved the description of all "Characters" in the Game which appears in the Main Menu.

Simple but nice game! I included it in my compilation video series of a bunch of LDJAM games!
