Dear Child by deformhead

Welcome ! Dear Child (Ludum Dare 48 Theme: Deeper and deeper) is built in plain HTML5/JavaScript with a framework I am developping.
Overview :
- it's more of a narrative experience than a game and I enjoyed working on it !
- use the ARROW RIGHT key to move
- I couldn't take more than 24 hours to work on this project
This was my third Game Jam, so I hope you'll like this game. Thank you for your support.

Thanks for making it and thanks for sharing.
I like what you did with the art and setting the mood👍
The story is short and intense, the visuals and audio are stunning.
I am always impressed by good compo games, and this one didn't fail to do so!
Great work, esp for only using 24 hours!
The art is really impressive considering you only had 24 hours, from the character animations to the storm in the background, it felt really polished (again 24 hours?! well done).
I think I may have had an issue with the audio though, I tried Firefox and Chrome and I didnt' have any sounds? I didn't rate audio for this reason.
Well done this is a nice entry!
Your proposition is very interesting.
I'am sad for the baby and parents... ;(
The story is very short and we want to have more game play but I understand that is hard to do in compo.
Graphism are very nice and the concept is cool :) So I hope to see you again next jam.
Maybe you should create a tutorial for your framework, although the documentation looks ok, a tutorial showing implementation of a very simple game could help potential users decide if it is something they'd find useful, I for one am interested. Also define a scope of what it is meant to do, from quick look I guess it is something for people who like to program most aspects of the game themselves, while the framework handles resource management and elevates few other burdens.
