I see how much you like strategy games. I am impressed you managed to code something like this in a weekend. It would take me months to code something this complex. The gameplay is rather simple but fun. The tutorial could have been more accessible as the while text is barely readable in some places, but other than that I had no issues. Pretty solid game for a LD Jam.

Decent job making a strategy game.
The text was hard to read in some places, and even behind units in some cases.
It would be useful to see how many resources you will get per turn.

I liked the radius for the movement. Like the other comment it was difficult to read the green text. It took me like two turns to realize there was no AI :)

Good job on making a strategy game ! It reminds me of these good old Advance Wars

Though, I wonder if it was intended to be played without a grid? It does look quite complex to play without a grid as we can stack as much units or buildings at the same location as we want. This can result to either a big snowball, or a big struggle as the player will have a hard time selecting them anyway.

Anyway, great enter ! :tada:

Great idea, i like strategy game. It's funny to move our army. In my opinion the problem is the lake of feedback when you do something.

@oillen sorry for the late reply. What game? If you've meant LD48, I didn't participate :\

This brings back memories of games I played on newgrounds. I loved the strategy games where you have to juggle between moving forward and fighting the enemy!

Я уже вижу, что эта игра превзойдет в будущем Supreme Commander! Надеюсь на продолжение ^_^

A simple but interesting project. The gameplay based on a strategy involving 2 players has its positive points. The gameplay is very simple and easy to play. If you allow me to suggest, maybe you could refine the gameplay mainly the tutorial part so that the game is less confusing at first. But either way, it was an interesting job. Congratulations.
