This game is pretty cool. its very fun. there is a problem that when you go into a wall you get stuck, and the musics a bit too quiet, but other then that its gold.

Actually pretty fun! Music was fine (maybe a bit too quiet), could use a couple more sound effects and/or polish on the graphics, but the whole thing worked very well and I enjoyed it.

@tillbold the web build is also hosted on itch which is linked in the description. Thank you for the heads up, I will replace the download web link with the itch link

(Tested on Linux) As a game it's a bit rough but it works.
Increasing the game's windows allows me to see more of the map. This made finding my path much easier :)
I think it ends a bit quickly/lacks an interesting mechanic or twist, but overall it's well done.

@nikl a great, now i tried it :P i agree with @nuelijarma, a twist would be nice or some danger to make it less walk simulator like. Squirrels try to hide their nut from other squirrels. Maybe you need to dirstract another squirrel and hide the nut from it in the end or something

Despite the game being very simple, I still enjoyed it. The audio really made a difference so you get some points for that. The squirrel art is also cute.
Some more mechanics than just buttons would've been nice, but like I said I still enjoyed the game for what it is.
Congratulations on finishing LD48!

It's simple but relaxying game, I liked it! :D
I even smiled a little at the sound effects which was made with your mouth. XD

The movement was a bit frustrating. If I press both the up and the right buttons, but I can't go up, than I still feel like I should be able to go right.

Nice and simple puzzly maze. It's a bit simple, just press the buttons and go to the exit.

Congrats on building something rad in Rust! I thought the music, the art, and the gameplay were adorable. Given the tile nature of the maps, I think a movement scheme with diagonal movements would improve gameplay a bit. Well done!

@lelek-hunor-kadosa Thanks, I am glad you liked it. Making the audio was a lot of fun ^^
I agree with the movement trouble. I also didn't like that, but did not have the time to fix it at the end.

@quoclon Thank you! I am not sure what you mean with "movement scheme with diagonal movements". If you for example press W and D you should already move diagonally.

Short but nice puzzle game. The music is great, and self made effects are awesome.

A running acorn! How cool is that? :sunglasses: I liked how you moved the camera to the locations where the switches did their things. It was very thoughtful. The visuals were cute, and the music made this chase a relaxing one. Great work

Just one idea: How about adding a humorous intro to the game to give this chase a fun context?

Great work! I really enjoyed the game. The music was fenomonal, the piano part was very relaxing and in the last level I heared the lava in the background it was great. The sound effects were also hilarious, going to the next level cracked me up!
Very well done!

That was a really fun game ^^ I really liked the effect of the camera focussing on the rocks and the movement. Those factors really helped navigating through the maze. I wish there would have been maybe one or two other mechanics since the levels themselves were very similair gameplaywise. They looked very graphically distinct though, which I really liked. The audio was also very cute. I really like seeing improvised soundeffects and the piano music really captured the tense situation going deeper into the game. Good job on this entry :)

What a cute little squirrel! Great gameplay, loved the graphics and especially the chill music. Also, the "ows", the "no-no-no" and the "yippee" v/o were nice little touches. Really great work (and impressive that you did it in Rust)!

Cute little game! It feels like Scrat trying to get his acorn in Ice Age (I wouldn't be surprised if it were a deliberate reference). The audio is awesome too! Good job!
