Very cool game! It's simple as it can be. I really like the audio the visuals, and especially the core gameplay. And it's also very fun to compete with other players on the leaderboard. Great job!

Overall very nice! The momentum, the oblong shape, and the fact that the mines are only temporarily visible make for a fun combo. I am pretty sure I once encountered a mine that was invisible (or rather became invisible, since I spotted it once then when it didn't show up again in my spotlight I sailed toward it and then died).

Cool idea, quite hard to make fine adjustments but I guess that adds to the difficulty. I like the music as well

Cool idea and the difficulty scales very nicely, feels very polished and I got to second place :)

I love the fact that you see sonar charges on the submarine

A fun game, nice take on the make-things visible type of gameplay.

Great work!

Game is simple and concept is fun. Although sometimes you fall into a path that you cannot escape (maybe I was keeping the sonar charges too much haha), the game loop is still challenging and fun.

Simple concept executed brilliantly! Really like how polished the game feels and the collision detection is perfect, had some really narrow escapes in between mines. If you were looking to add complexity to the game, you could look at torpedoes (essentially would act as moving mines)

So, while i'm at top10. GREAT GAME! There is a potential for hypercasual also. Don't understand why we can't move up or am I missing smth?

Simple to understand and fun to play. Gets harder a bit to quick though, after some lines it gets almost impossible to get further.

@bionikmonster I saw that, I'm impressed!

@exiled-burger Thanks! Yeah, sonar charges can help see any dead routes.

@amar-ravi Thanks! I originally intended to have moving enemies, but the game turned more into a mass mine field where anything that moved dynamically would be way too hard.

@mamon You can move up if you turn, you just can't move backwards.

Radar make me have a fun time playing, sounds are really great and gives a cool atmosphere. Good job!

The atmosphere with the sound and tension of this game was really good. The best part was pressing space and seeing the whole screen turn red.
The controls could be a little more tight. The momentum was pretty well done but adding a counteracting force when truing the opposite way you are going would make the game feel more responsive.

Thanks for participating in the jam!

This was well done. Enjoyed how it felt like a complete experience. The graphics and audio were clean and well used.

I liked the depth lines as you descended, and that you had to use real left / right steering right than just magically strafing.

Great job!

This game is incredible. The gameplay concept is very well thought out and executed. The controls are clear, simple and feel very good to use. The tutorial is very well implemented aswell.
The graphics and audio ambiance are both well supporting the gameplay.
Very good job and great game !

An elegantly designed experience. Controls are intuitive and responsive. The music and sound really create a great atmosphere of tension as you try to navigate through the mines.

My only gripe is that sonar feels a bit too useful and I was able to see almost every mine with it up to the next depth mark.

That being said, it's a stellar game, I played a few times to try to to get to the top of the leaderboard but alas, I am only a mere mortal 😭.

@jaiden-gerig Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, you'll be able to see almost all mines with the sonar charge, but the real challenge is being able to decipher and remember a safe path to take!

This is so far my favorite entry. The gameplay is approachable, but challenging, and your two main methods of detection complement each other really well.
