Loved this! The art style was incredible and overall everything felt good.

I have one problem though - I landed on the store right as I ran out of fuel and it triggered a game over scenario and I feel that this is a bug since I should be able to refuel

Either way - well done!

This is great! Love the artwork and it was really fun to play, and I'm not usually into turn-based games. Would have been cool to be able to salvage fuel from enemies you beat or something, cause otherwise once you know you're farther from a fuel station than you have fuel to travel, there's no point playing further since you know you'll lose anyways. Overall it's great, nice work!

Solid game, I liked the map much more than other roguelikes which tend to just be a straight line with different paths. I would have liked to be able to scroll the map a bit to plan out my path more. Some of the text was escaping the background boxes, and I wasn't able to play the game on web until I full screened it as the start button was hidden. The inventory system is also very cool and I think there is a lot of interesting design space there if you decide to continue this project in the future.

Fun game, was a bit difficult to see when I skipped a turn successfully. Loved the ship configuration screen and the adjacency bonuses.

The inventory system was definitely the most fun part of the game! I liked the trade off offered by different weapons in terms of damage vs cooldown, and it was fun to try different loadouts. One of the things I found myself wishing for was honestly just more content, which isn't something a jam game can ever be faulted for. Playing the web version, I found even fullscreening it certian UI elements were difficult to see, but it was completely playable. Overall I enjoyed playing it a lot!

I had so much fun with this! It was remarkably well balanced for a LD game, and the pacing was excellent. Great music and animation as always. Thanks for the game!

Incredible fun, the inventory system is clever and the combat feels good and well balanced. It reminds me a lot of FTL.

Fun game! It's definitely balanced on the easy side, with various combinations being relatively easy to assemble and definite game winners. All in all it feels like a nicely made, very simplified FTL. Good job!

Great art style, and a good framework for a thoughtful and in depth game. Unfortunately, as it stands, getting a cooler and two heaters make the game practically an instant win because you kill every enemy in one shot except for the boss (which I got with the green colored laser instead). A bug I noticed was that spam clicking the flee button would make you flee instantly from subsequent encounters without having to wait for them to score a free hit. Way too easy, but I really loved the UI and the system screen gave me strong FTL vibes (which is a good thing!) Good game .

**+** the music is really good

**+** the hand-drawn art style worked well

**+** Position-based effects in your equipment were cool

**-** combat turns felt slow, and I wanted more feedback on when stuff happens in them

**-** I often wanted to drag and drop instead of clicking

**-** Some of the buyables were a little too good

Best compo graph game I've seen so far

This was really nice and well pollished. I liked the background with he things floating through space. The node system worked well and it felt good planning out where to go and what to do. I didn't immediately realise i had to equip things but when i did it was a really nice touch to be able to slot things together. The combat became a little slow before I died. really great entry, good job!

Playing this game, I was super impressed with the level of polish and even more impressed when I returned to the page and saw that it was a compo game. I loved the music and that the art was simple, but fluid. I also thought that the inventory system was cleverly designed and added a valuable layer to the game.

My only suggestion would be to add a short transition animation when jumping between star systems, as being thrown straight into battle felt a bit disorienting to me. Otherwise great game!

What a great game ! The game feel is perfect thanks to ScreenShakes, Sound and visual effects ! I really like the game concept and it's a super polihed game (and done in 48hours, it's impressive !). The hand drawing graphics and the music work perfectly together.
The only thing that I find hard is the "shop" mechanic because you can't come back to a shop to buy some more health, but this way it's challenging, not necessarily a bad thing.
Great job !

The music and the hand drawn stuff is great, as is the inventory. Great achievement given the time you had was really feeling the FTL vibes.

Sometimes weapon attacks didn't seem to respond after clicking, and after an enemy encounter it seems like you have to press the leave button twice. A bit of UI polish and it would be a solid game!

Probably one of the best compo game this LD ! Really cool FTL-like gameplay, graphics are amazing, the music is really cool, that was a really fun playthrough. I like to add little things that I'll like to see improved but here... more content I guess ? That's pretty much it, very very cool game.

I really like the inventory and how you can combine the objects.
It's true that the fight animation was a bit lacking compared to the awesome graphics of the game.
I would see myself coming back to this game to play again!
Good job!

The vecrotised art style reminds me of the old flash yore. Art, music and game play blend together well.
