I liked the simple, but well placed graphics. It felt very "early internet", which worked out in its favor. All it needs are a few "spank the monkey" flash ads and some Newgrounds logos to complete the illusion. A few small changes would go far here. Adding an indication that a virus was damaged and extending the bullet's range a tad would do a lot for the gameplay.

I like platformers, so this was a fun little game! A couple sound effects would have done this game good though. :smile:

Good platformer. I liked that when you jumped of an edge that you just looped around the level.Fun game mechanic. Also some nice creativity with how you had different block that blocked bullets/player.

Adding a damage indicator and some sound would have been nice.

That's exactly the kind of game I except from the compo^^ Simple but lovely.

I loved the simple but cool mechanics (the fact that you come back from the top when falling) and level design ideas. Again it's simple, it's of course very rough and lacks a little feedback on things you do (small sounds, or you know, effects when hit / take a hit; probably hitbars on enemies to know that you did hurt them) but you did a coherent thing with some cute ideas around the internet idea so I liked it despite this.

The overall glitch/virus ambience is there, with the different patches and bugged textures. The difficulty seems quite rough though, with ennemies blasting you in a wall of bullets (that go through walls). The lack of feedback means you have to frantically click everywhere, and the jump isn't powerfull enough to efficiently dodge bullets.

With a bit more attention given to polish and feedbacks, this could be a fun little platformer :)

Very nice game! I really liked the graphics, and all the surprising elements - the hiding viruses, cyclic level & the [REDACTED] at the end (really didn't see that coming, and it was very cool). There was one section which required you to die repeatedly while slowly reducing the amount of viruses, but other than that, great entry!

at one point I had to bruteforce and respawn until I got them. THe boss was good fun, because evading was a skill at that point. I loved the hints to shady download links containing virus packs.
