Fun take on the theme with the mechanics. Would have liked to play a few more levels with different variable factors but still a really cool little concept.

Wow, a very innovative concept here. I could definitely see this as a fully-fledged puzzle game, and I also liked the take on the theme.

the concept is super cool but was really short and easy, would be a really cool game with some more levels and graphics/sound!

Nice. It'd be cool to have a bunch of secret interactions, as though it were a kind of physics sandbox.

This is short and sweet, but very innovative!

If pushed further, there's a lot of puzzles you can do with this! Quite a fun and small little concept you can definitely push further. Try to keep that in mind for the future, as this could be a nice little small puzzle you can place in other games too!

A really good idea, very innovative. I personnaly would have enjoyed a longer gameplay and more puzzles. the different interactions between the layers is very interesting and feels "natural". Nice entry.

outside the box thinking thinking about the theme for sure, could for sure see it fleshed out as a puzzle game because it is a little short.

Dang, I was really excited for this one and it ended so fast. Would love to see you keep going with this! Really cool idea and I could see some really interesting puzzles coming out of this.

I'll join the chorus of voices wishing that this were longer--as it stands, this feels like an excellent proof-of-concept for a cool puzzler, or maybe the first level. With additional environments and puzzles, you'd have a real winner here!

Also something really tickled me with the way you handled the "END". Maybe it was the way you read it, or the bold font over the tree--speaking of which, the animation of the tree was nice, and the art style is cool and distinctive. Very enjoyable!

@breadstick Thanks for appreciating the "End.", heavy inspiration from Prometheus and Bob.

I appreciate the text to speech. The game is quite hilarious albeit short, but sweet. It knows what it is and does that well, so good job!

Wow that was... short. I was getting intrigued really. Do not appreciate pan in the face with the "End" there (just kidding I laughed a bit too hard on that). It's a pretty pleasant game. Shame it's a bit short.

Definitely a cool idea and it was an interesting idea for a puzzle game I would love to see more as it was a bit short.

Cool idea! The game did feel like one big tutorial, though. I would've liked to see more applications of these mechanics in some puzzles where the solution isn't told to you outright. Definitely has some great potential though, I think you could really have something if you continue working on this.

Very nice! It's short, but I feel like this idea is rock solid. Rather Inception-like. :)

I reeeeeeeeeeeeeally like the potential here. I can totally see this getting expanded into wider "substates" with different interactions to accomplish a goal. A pretty creative mechanic overall, nice job!

The concept here is really unique and interesting! I like how you narrated the game, you don't see that a lot in jam games

Very cool concept for a puzzle game. It would have been nice to have a couple more levels because the whole game feels like it's just the tutorial level. I did like the little cut scene you did at the end. Good entry. :)

Love this kind of short really unique entry, great job! The audio is top-notch: voice tutorial is a great way to make it fun to learn this really unusual system, music fits super-well, and the sound effect for moving up/down levels is nice. Graphics were clear and direct. Game duration was great -- let me play around with this system, have a few surprises and test my knowledge, and then ended without me having any chance to get tired of it: ended while I still wanted more.

Critique-wise I can only offer one thing: maybe the controls could be simplified, I don't know if there is value to moving up/down with the arrows, so instead of the split arrows-and-WS, you could just have left/right move on the level and up/down switch between. Not that this mattered at all in such a short game.

Nice entry! And so different from your soundcloud concert game that I remember playing before, love seeing that variety of types of entries.
