The ambiance in this game is amazing. The graphics are beautifully creepy, the script is witty, and I love the Potatoe People. The gameplay is simple, but that's all it needs to be to enjoy the atmosphere. Truely an amazing job for such a short dev period!

Interesting game! I really enjoyed the vibe the moment I spawned inside the shelter, even though it did take me quite a while to realize there were doors which I could actually open. The atmosphere was suspenseful and when I ran into a first enemy it spooked me quite a bit. Got lost in an underground shelter with potato people, quite an experience! Highlights for me were the graphics and the dialogue!

The graphics, sound and mood are amazing. This may be subjective, but the pacing is a bit slow for me. Still 4/5, I was really immersed in the game.

Nice one!
However, can't get to the end as game have crashed when I've entered room full of beds.
Also, check out our game "Deep ribbit"!

I would have appreciated a quit option.
I was quickly stuck after the first dialog nothing seemed to interact despite the hand icon showing.
How do you play? What did I miss?
Nice ambiance though.

Wow, this game is very unusual. I was met by potato-man! The game also have a strong story-telling, I like it.
But when I died of a lizard (in the wooden chambers), and spoke to the blue-eyed potato-man, the game crushed :(
Anyway, I really enjoyed! Thanks!

I think this game is okay. I like the weirdness and genuine creepiness of the environment but the game crashed on me mid way through, and there wasn't a save feature. I would finish this game if the pace wasn't really slow. solid game though.

I love the atmosphere of this game! I haven't yet but I've always wanted to make a horror game like this. The structure of the tunnels definitely felt like I was going deeper and deeper into some eldritch labyrinth, so great adherence to the theme!

I didn't complete it, since the game crashed when I died after getting 3 items of importance. The level looks amazing, although some assets feel very out of place. The music is ethereal and really fits the atmosphere. The potatopeopledesign is simply great, the lizardpeople was a slight letdown after that. It was a little weird at first having E interact when you aimed with mouse. The UI elements didn't look good and the font choice was pretty odd. Playing the game itself wasn't that enjoyable, it was just moving around and avoiding the lizards. Biggest gripe apart from the crashing was the lizard's chomp sound. It was way louder than anything else in the game, bordering on actually painful.

It's so impressive how much you got done in such a short amount of time! :potato:

- Beautiful atmosphere
- Hilarious script (I was amazed how well the spooky horror style combines with the humorous dialogues)
- Great visuals
- Nice take on the time

So enjoyable, well done! :v: :potato:

If you like constructive feedback, some minor things:
- Maybe include a button to toggle running, I felt the player was a bit too slow
- Also some sort of a minimap, or more distinct areas would have been helpful as I often found myself a bit lost

Anyways, thanks for the experience!

Very immersive. Those beings the friendly and the not so friendly ones were a bit disturbing, but that was intended I guess, so good work. xD Intense atmosphere.

I got a game breaker here.![sheltered_deep.jpg](///raw/9da/b3/z/419dd.jpg)

Very creepy atmosphere. I really enjoyed the funny potato head and great visuals. I just felt that the walking was very jittery and the game also crashed for me while being chased by the monster. Overall great game though.

Had a crash same as other people, but overall pretty nice game! Nice atmosphere and environments. I really likes the potato people, they seem really suited to living in an underground shelter.

Thank you to everyone who played our game, and especially to those of you leaving comments. It is thanks to your feedback that we managed to track down the issues causing the game to crash.

The issues has now been fixed and the game should be completeable without any problems.

Thank you again, and we will see you in LD 49!

I HATE LIZARD PEOPLE! BUT I LOVED THIS GAME. Such a fun and thrilling experience. The art looks amazing with the HDRP in Unity. The music and sound effects really sell the vibe. I liked the exploration of diffrent levels. The enemies were quite scary, but I managed to survive. The narrative was full of jokes, memes and pop references - LOVED that. Really cool game, recommend that everyone plays it. Hope to see a version with more levels and content - I wanna know more about this world. Thanks for making this game!

My only gripe would be the slow crawl of the credits, but I guess its the slomo view out of my jar.

Well made game in such a short time. A bit short but that is definitely understandable!

A nice humor/horror-game, not usually a fan of "sneak-around"-games but still liked this one.

Good gfx and well made audio, what's not to like? Congrats!

We played your game in multiplayer two days ago during our stream. Here is a link to the exact place in the video archive if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=aC3sZsRjx5g&t=7940s

Very beautiful, but at a cost. My gamer laptop could barely run it, and it crashed at the end :sob:
I got lost easily and didn't understand that doors where doors for a while! Thanks that my Wife was next to me and force me to go click one :) I think this could be avoided but having a handle on the door maybe? or buying a new potato brain for me, either way :smirk_cat:

This games setting and atmosphere scared me so much, its insane (this is a great thing, so do take this as a complement). 5 stars for you guys on mood, and the models are insane as well. I loved the writing and the game as a whole is just amazing for 72 hours. Fantastic job!

That was interesting to play.

great use of the theme. the use of doors gave me a feeling of going deeper and deeper into the dungeon. the atmosphere was fantastic. and it was fun just poking around. my only gripe was that the lighting was a bit too bright in some spots, but maybe that is what you were going for? thanks for making it.

Wow what a game! I like horror games and especially when there is a psychological theme behind it. Incluisve I think your game has a theme interpretation, somewhat similar to the game I made haha. The graphics are beautiful, and the mood is incredible. Gameplay is very easy to learn, and with little time you can already understand what you need to do. My only suggestion, if I may say, is about the door assets. I think you could use some kind of asset that would indicate the doors more clearly, since I was confused at the beginning of the game haha, but nothing that would hinder the experience. Really really good, congratulations.
