very fun! last boss gave me a decent bit of trouble. hard to sight read but really rewards knowing mechanics. very cohesive visual/audio style, and feels like a complete experience. Had this been slightly longer and released in the heyday of flash it would have been a hit x)

Really fun game. There is a bit of a challenge which made me want to do just "one more round". Really liked the overall aesthetic.
Feedback when you fire the gun would be maybe give it a bit more impact.

Cool game! Very nice core mechanics and feel. I would have enjoyed a gun with faster rate of fire and less damage. I did not enjoy clicking rapidly and getting infrequent shots.

@rhoff95 you can hold the mouse button to shoot when the bullet ready

Great game! The art is simple but awesome. I also think a faster rate of fire (with reloading to slow down the player a bit) would make it even more fun.

Deserperately needs a faster gun and music

Fun game - missing some music. I like the dodge mechanic though. (Also that second room coffee's long attack thing...)

Pretty solid little game. Could use a controls explanation as it isn't clear there is a dash button or even that the dash gives I-frames. I stumbled through the first room by pure timing and luck, only to get stomped by the first boss since I didn't know how to dodge. I do appreciate that you tried to actually give an organic way to learn the dash mechanics though! Even if I did stumble around the lesson lol. Fun game though and VERY impressive visuals for a 48-hour game.

Good game. Strong mechanics. Rewards player attention/learning. Missed having some music and the reload could be faster for more fast-paced action.

Cool game! With some intense music, it would've been much more epic, I suggest using Song Maker https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Song-Maker/song/5108911672655872 you can make simple but great tracks using it like that one. I loved the enemy designs, the first one was challenging at the beginning, but once i found out that you can dash, it really helped out a lot. Also I think there should be a longer invulnerability period after you get hit, because its really easy to die fast. The enemies have cool death animations as well, personally enjoyed fighting the monke

That being said, this is still some really nice work done in 48 hours.

@wanooknox in the left down corner there are all 3 buttons game uses, i wanted to place those in game world, but it felt really cluttered, and also time was running low

Nice short game, interesting mechanics. Some music could go a long way as well as some sound effects for enemies. The gameplay is pretty cool, dashing feels nice.

This is my type of game. I do think the lasers could have had a little more signaling on the last boss. Other than that, loved it.

Cool entry! My friend really loved the graphics and couldn't stop talking about how nice the CRT TV vibe was. The main graphical complaint was the lack of visual indicators on the enemies being hit. The single white flash didn't feel like heavy, strong impacts that the rocket launcher should have been delivering.

The gameplay was solid for a bullet hell, especially for a game made in 48 hours. controls were smooth and responsive. Enemy attacks could have been a little more predictable, or more signaled. The reasons for not getting marked higher were mostly that it was very much just a bullet hell. It wasn't very innovative on the genre, more just doing what's already been done before.

Probably what hurt the most in the ratings, and is the area to look to improve for next time, was the audio. The sound effects that were included in the game were great, but there were just so few of them. No sounds for when the bosses fired their attacks, no sound effects made by the bosses when hit, no sound effects made when the bullets hit walls, etc. And then on top of that there was no music to fill the empty space left by the lack of sound effects. I would have rather seen this game stretched into a solo jam entry with the extra day spent on juicing up the visual and auditory feedback.

@jesterseraph thanks for the feedback, gonna be honest can't make music for shit lol, even a extra week to make music would give a pretty meh track at best, i could add extra sound effects though, about the juicyness, i thought that it was pretty good, what would be your suggestions to make it even juicer? since i don't really have any ideas in that regard. also i wanted but couldn't because of time implement some kind of sanity lost, either with stats or just linear with each floor (since the name madness inc), something simallar to what don't starve has, to make the game more original, with signaling, i had a dumb idea to make it so the final boss has very little to make it "harder" wasn't the smartest idea lol

Very polished entry! Visuals are extremely appealing, I could see a full game in this style. Loved the monkey shoot effects. Congrats on getting something so good looking in such a short time! :D

Its a interesting idea. But it could have a little bit more of content at the beginnign of the game. I know it was only 48h , but starts killing boss out of the blue its a very poor story. Good graphics, missed the music, and the soot effects its poping a bit. However I think It can be a great game if you intend to continue with the development, great job!

The game feels nice to play, player movements are on point, the graphics and sounds are very well done. I'd only add sound effects for the bosses patterns. Good job doing a game in 48h!

Nice entry! It was quite challenging for me since it's not really the kind of game I'm used to play, but I really enjoyed it!

The graphics and sound design are effective, turning the screen slightly in red when you have only one life left was a great idea!

Good job :)
