Fun idea, solid but small execution. Some sort of way to gauge the score would be nice to break up the endless nostril. Maybe the boogers/canal/hair changes color as depth increase; anything to make the player feel the goal/purpose of continuing.

Really like the font, the graphic and the coherence. Really dig the music too! Simple and straight to the point. Polished.

@johncavatelli agreed 100%. If I'd had the time I would have added a score counter as well as better difficulty increase. I just spent way too much time on the finger animations and only made the most basic of gameplay. I'm happy with it anyways, but could have been much better

Graphics are great too, I would personally love a simple highscore system, any sense of progression would be great!

My favorite so far. Simplicity and polish really does it here! I liked the sense of progression. As it got faster and faster I got into the flow, made some confident moves, until my confidence caught up to me.

Heehee, cute and humerous. Controls work fine and the art is pretty darn good.

Problems, though... for one, the endlessness isn't a great idea. There's no sense of progression, not even a score to keep track of where you are, it left me feeling kind of like an empty nostril afterward.

I also ran into a bug where boogers were only reducing nosehairs *some* of the time. You may want to look into that before bugfixing time is up.

Hilarious! That sneeze sound at the end was so appropriately gross! I think the only thing I would suggest could be improved is the music could be a little more dynamic to match the gameplay. Great interpretation of the theme!

I almost want to call the pixel art charming, but like in a way that makes you want to gag. Gameplay is simple but effective.

Something about the sound effects and visuals really remind me of 'Nightmare Ned' in the best way. It's cohesive, simple, and funny.

The only thing I'm missing out on is an end goal or score system. Aimlessly navigating a nose without any sense of progression or completeness gets boring.

That said, the presentation is fantastic. Nice work!

@seafishelle Glad you enjoyed it! The thing with the boogers is actually intentional, each time you collect a booger there's a 1/3 chance that it clears one bar of irritation. Otherwise it would be too easy to stay alive. I probably should have just made the bar have more possible values so every booger has some effect though. And yeah agreed on the endlessness. there is some difficulty progression, but not much. And no score either, ran out of time.

Love the idea :heart: ! Nicely exectuted with good graphics and an sound design which is in sync with your theme.
The music loop is simple and discrete (maybe a little too short).
The only thing I would change is the too perfect movement you have to do to avoid hair even in the beginning :smile:

Fun and simple, but I think it needs a score system of some kind. Unless I missed it, there's no way to tell how well you did, so it doesn't give much incentive to replay and try and beat your previous attempt. making the boogers worth points would be the obvious option, since they currently don't seem to do anything until you've already hit some hairs.

Haha, really appreciate the fact that you had balls to make such a game. The game itself is really straight forward, but the theme makes it funny. It kinda reminds me those early 2000's webgames that were literally just about poops, boogers and stuff like that.

That fit the theme it's funny and dirty but in term of game it's good, that's remind me the old game **Boogerman** on genesis in this kind of idea.

Funny concept. I wasn't the hugest fan of the gameplay though.

I had no idea what exactly I was in for when I clicked this game. XD I would have loved to have a depth meter to know I was making progress. The scope was pretty narrow for this, and you cleanly executed on what you made. And nothing is wrong with a little toilet humor -- most of our game ideas incorporate it in one form or another. Either way, this is still a solid entry that while small, is a finished game and has good polish around what is there.

The art style totally made me think of a nostril and the wiggling finger tip was great. My daughters got a kick out of this one. I think the one thing I'd like to see would be some sort of score/counter like -- you grabbed X boogies or you went X cm deep, etc. Great game, it was fun.

nice sound design! Gameplay a bit dull I found, with no clear goal or sign of advancement. The scrolling was also pretty irregular for me (used chrome), I wish it didn't stutter that much. Great art and presentation overall
