IKÖA wants to establish a new shipping route through the center of the earth, so they hire Swedens finest driller, Jörgen.

Help Jörgen maintain his drilling machine as he goes deeper into the earth, fill the reactor with fuel, reroute coolant to keep the engine and drill cool.

Tutorial:

Manage heat and fuel, while steering the drill away from "dense" material to drill thorugh. The deeper you go, the harder it gets.

  • Heat is managed, by moving cooling between the drill og the engine.
  • Fuel is replenished, by moving material from the refinery to the engine room.
  • The Drill is controlled, by interacting with the desk at in the Control Room.

Controls: - WASD = Move the drill and the character - E = Interact - At the pump : E to interact with the pump, and then hold down left mouse button while moving the mouse to change the flow of coolant

How deep can you go ?!

Changelog for 1.01 - Decreased drill speed. - Decreased fuel consumption. - Increased Player move speed. - Fixed game over screen to show stats from game. - Fixed Coolant flow rate. - Fixed so rotation of drill affects speed. - Fixed so game over screen just goes directly to game scene. - Added gamepad support(This needs to be tested).

Changelog for 1.02 - Fixed gamepad support. - Fixed warning lights.

I like this game. It feels good to control, the graphics are amazing and IKÖA and Jörgen are a dream team, but it is REALLY hard. Refuling seems to not even give the amount of fuel used, while I'm walking to the refinery and back to the engine and the dense material is hard to avoid, even when controlling the drill the whole time. The cooling however feels pretty fair and ignoring the huge difficulty (or my lack of understanding some mechanic) this is the absolutely best hole drilling game I've seen so far. Maybe you could provide a version with an easy and a "for real swedish guys" difficulty. I would definitely come back for that.

Super impressive graphics and animations. Love the sound and voice lines, too. I did find that I just could not supply enough fuel to last very long (when I deposited the fuel, the gauge didn't seem to move). I don't know if I was doing something wrong or missing something. I probably was. Great job!

Impressive looking game! The 3D/2D stuff was really cool. There wasn't much feedback about what was going wrong so I found that I always died without really understanding why, but I enjoyed the variety of things to mess with. Nice audio and humour as well.

Love the humor! The character is great, I like his animation. It was quite hard to play, but the visuals are really nice.

A nice spin on the drilling concept. And the art style is really neat

Maybe having a notification of what's actually wrong would be nice instead of just the red lights. Some robotic "fire in the engine" voice over or something :D

Really good game, pretty fun. It has some graphic bug, on the player animation but that doesn't kill the fun. Maybe the only bad point is when there is an alarm, we don't know what is the problem.
But all and all, it's really fun, and I love the funky music.

Love it! great job and keep up the good work. Can't wait to see this concept go further (if you haven't considered it, you really should!)

would be nice with more information when doing things, right now it feels super random running around swearing in swedish, turning knobs and controlling the drill. I did enjoy the graphics and the concept was very interesting!

That's a way to approach the drilling-though-the-earth concept xD
It was good fun. The whole game is all kinds of silly and it's great.
Although I was quite sure that my drill was always in good temperature, when it seemed to overheat anyway.
So that was strange.

But the back and forth between controlling the path of the drill and maintaining its integrity, that was a nice play of mechanics. Well done!
