Very cool! Kinda' relaxing just clearing layers of blocks as you mine down. Personally I would've loved if something happened when you got to layer 10. Maybe it gets harder in some way, or it's just the end and you have to find the 5 diamonds before then. I like the subtle strategy that emerges too with when you choose to dig down, in trying not to miss a diamond.

Thank you for the feedback @sigmath-bits and playing the game! I was hoping to implement something like you've suggested but ran out of time  Currently, every 10/20 levels chance to find Diamond, Silver, Gold or Rock block increases slightly, but it's probably not noticable enough.

Great little game! I encountered a bug where my player would disappear from the game if I changed layer height while moving, but apart from that, very polished!

man this game is so relaxing! the axe tink's were right on, and I think the graphics served the gameplay really well. I can totally see this being expanded to where rocks get harder to mine as you dig down and you would have to buy upgraded gear with the stuff you've mined so far. Also the zoom all the way to the top once you got 5 diamonds was ssooooooo satisfying. good job!

Relaxing, well polished game! I like the concept. I wish there was a bit more challenge or more things to do/discover. I felt really too easy and I lost interest very quickly.

Relly well executed! The zoom through the layers at the end was super satisfying :>

This was a very pleasant game to play. I like the fact that you don't see blocks when you get deeper (unless you cleared out blocks above), just one of many examples of small details that you added which are great. The graphics are all slick and very coherent. For a compo game I would go as far as saying that it's one of the better looking ones!

This would be great as a mobile game, you should consider it! :)

Very cool concept, the idea of scrolling through the layers is just superb! The motion is fluid, the art is nice. Overall it's a great soothing experience. Maybe it could benefit from some random artifacts you collect from tiles or something like this to break the routine. Great game!

The game is really well made and it is fun to dig and look for the diamonds.
The graphics are simple and well made and fit their purposes. The sound is clean.
On little point about the UI where we don't necessarily know what icons are.
Thank you for the game !

And this is why people love minecraft! You just hit blocks and done! :D I mean the idea is neat and unique compared to a loads of participants. A good job, congrats!

Fun and pleasing little game! The look and animation feel great and I really enjoyed two moments:
1. When I found a diamond in an unexpected place (felt as good as in Minecraft or Terraria)
2. The animation at the end where al the layers are shown, that was awesome!

Good job!

Cute and lots of polish. Compo is so hard, there's just never enough time!

Couldn't get Unity to load on my end but I really like how you constructed the depth for this project. 5D Minecraft hoooooo.
