made by Dilem for Ludum Dare 48 (COMPO)

Play as the legendary world eater Jormungandr on the quest to well, you know, eat the world? Use mouse to control movement direction. Eat objects around you to grow in size. Avoid bumping into objects that are too big. As you grow go deeper and deeper under the ground to find bigger and better things to eat. LD484.png LD485.png

Fun take on snake, love the generated graphics and little spinning eye in Jorgungandr's head. 10/10 would eat the world again

Good Job, I liked playing this game a lot !

Really like the art style (especially how the worm look!). I found the speed and the turn a bit slow and hard to know the difference beetween what you must eat and what kills you.
Nice take on the genre, good job!

I think it is frustrating, that you have to start all over again if you misjudge what you can eat, or get into a dead end.

That was nice, though its a bit difficult to judge when you can eat something, also sometimes you can get stuck in tight space between things you can't eat.

Not bad. Initial on-screen hint was a bit unclear for me. However it is easy realize what to do.

I enjoyed how colorful this game was. The gameplay is intuitive and the graphics are cool. In my opnion, it was a bit difficult to figure out what I was supposed to eat and what would deal damage. Other than that everything was great! Nice work.

Nice. Simple, Unintuitive. A little audio would go a long way! Perhaps some black lines around items that can be eaten to help clarify the objectives? Overall well done!

I thought that I would get bigger when eating but kept small and after two minutes of catching small stuff since the larger ones killed me I got bored. Nice character design. Well done.

Man, we had very similar ideas, but vastly different implementations. I really like how you made a whole planet, as I opted for the less impressive route of just moving in a single direction. Really cool!

This was a nice chill game. I really enjoyed the art and the easy to grasp mechanic. I do agree that judging when you could eat the next size item was a little hard but some trail and error never hurt anyone

I like the cool take on snake and the constant scale up, but I wish there was more feedback when the snake eats

Graphics are nice. Wish there was a more zoomed out version so we got to enjoy its kaleidoscopic quality more. How about some enemies that chase you around, or that you chase around? Keep up the good work!

The controls are excellent. Totally felt I was in control. The title of the game is great also.
