Nice game with a crazy story. Tricky clicking the pictures at the end, was not expecting them. The art was so so so good though!

The art was absolutely awesome, loved the beautifully drawn characters and stylistic choices. As a whole, it was an engaging experience, short and punchy. The audio design was stellar as well, the sounds really added to the experience. The music and effects blended together quite seamlessly. Overall, pretty good.

However, I will say that the writing was a little bit weak. The way it was phrased and the pacing was off. The twist at the end came out of nowhere. I think the story could be better structured and the dialogue itself could feel more tonally appropriate.

That said, I understand that something like that takes a lot of time and this is a game jam, so kudos on getting something so cool out there. It was a pleasure playing it!

A really nice and visually applealing story game. I really liked the pacing of the story. And the sound effects of the text was really satisfying :D. however i would reccomend keeping a PG warning or something. cuz there are a lot of swear words and the story is relatively dark.

Really good visual style (both art and text), I liked the rough style and hard shadows, really suiting the mood and theme of the game. Music was really good too. Great job!

Probably the best art I've seen yet in the entirety of LD48. The pastel style is great at blending light and shadow for that noir look. The text animations are great as well. The story could use a bit of work, I found the twist to be out of nowhere, but overall a very well put together game

A nice entry, the art, sound design and overall feeling of the game was amazing. The writing was a little bit weak which is unfortunate for a visual novel, but it was a nice experience playing this game!

As others have said your graphics and SFX are awesome. The story was good but the writing could improve, it was a bit cheesy which doesn't work for this kind of game. Great entry!

Loved the art! It captures the noire style well. What a trippy experience. I don't have as much feedback as I normally would, since I don't know much about story-based games. I love the idea, and the story was very very trippy and more bumpy than smooth. Not to nitpick, but some of the writing was a little odd. For instance "Do you even imagine the situation we found ourselves into" should be "Can you even imagine the situation we are in" or the slightly more awkward "Do you even understand the situation we have come to" or something along those lines. It added to the trippiness of the game in the end. Overall, well done-- super interesting idea and visually beautiful with nice music and sound effects.

Awesome! I liked multiple elements of the game: visually it's fantastic, hats off to the person(s) who did the artwork. The music fits well with the flow of the story and the melody was good. I also liked how the text shook depending on what's happening. Even though the story is fun I found it lacked a bit of depth but this did not stop me from enjoying the game. Again, good job! :)

Love the art and the way the story is being told. the sound design is also very impressive.

Question:
!> I played it multiple times, and I feel like I get multiple different endings; how many endings are there?

Great job with this game!

Noir without jazz? Still, somehow the music did fit well. Maybe because it sounded a little bit like elevator music, and the guy's office seems to be an elevator.

Great art. Story is great as well, just the wording was a bit weird at times. The theme was entirely in story rather than in gameplay, which is alright considering it is a story based game. The story and characters do manage to draw one in, this game will sure stay in memory for a while. Vacation pic of Minos was the funniest thing I've seen in a while.

EDIT: oh right, I almost forgot. Someone mentioned multiple endings so I played it two more times and failed to find any other ending. Maybe because this depends on the success of fight sequence, and it is only in second playing that I noticed there is an actual choice of weapons. Third playing I made a bad choice I guess. I couldn't make myself try again for 4th time as it takes quite a while to get to that part, and story doesn't vary much until then. So my only complaint is that fight sequence choice should have been made somehow easier.

Art and music on point, the mood is incredible. Tried the game twice, and I reached the end twice at the blood beach, not sure is there are other endings but the other comments seem to suggest so (I feel like I can go deeper in the story). Also, caught a few typos.

Anyway, not a big fan of visual novels but this one is really well made and I did not see time pass. Good job!

The art and the atmosphere was fantastic! I felt the writing didn't fully reel me in, but still enjoying the ambience. One of the most atmospheric entries I played in this jam. Foundation for something really nice, hope you continue building on it!

What a great experience! I wish there was more interaction like this moment in th elevator where you need to pick a weapon. Amazing job on art, music, sound design and writing, well done!

Amazing amount of work here. I'd love to know what filters / effects you've applied in your image editor to achieve the look. It's incredibly consistent. Crude shapes and bold framing suit the brash (violent, fast paced, hellish) theme of the story, so a great marrying of visual and narrative style. Well done.
