Deeper Into the Multiverse by lovetocode999

[raw]
made by lovetocode999 for Ludum Dare 48 (COMPO)

You are a physicist who has found a way to traverse the multiverse. Unfortunately, you lost the machine you used to get into the multiverse in the first place. Lucky for you though, you have weakened the fabric of space and time enough that portals to other universes have formed... Try to find your way home - Good luck!

Note: First compo game, first time using tilesets, first time using löve in a game jam, and first time using Aseprite for graphics, so prepare for a low quality game (^^

Interesting premise, although I seemed to finish quicker than expected by choosing the red portal?
Couple of minor bugs as an FYI - A/D are actually left/jump, and I seemed to be able to moonjump by quickly spamming jump?
Other than that, solid compo entry that fits the theme!

Nice smooth character animation!

Motion is a bit choppy or you sometime get stuck on the wall or in the floor!

I made all the wrong choice before finishing the game. I wished very hard for a run mode!

@mrnyarlathotep Oh whoops sorry about that!!! I use the workman keyboard layout and I forgot to change keys back to qwerty after testing! Thank you for your feedback!

Couple of bugs with the input, and double jumping, but it was intuitive and I was able to beat it. I think it's awesome that you gave love.js a go to make this game in 48 hours!
