Ruby Hunter by bkmld

[raw]
made by bkmld for Ludum Dare 48 (JAM)

A ruby is buried under the ground. Use the cursor keys to navigate and find the ruby. As you approach the ruby the sound will get louder and the frequency higher. Can you find the ruby? If so, how fast? Happy hunting!

Really cool game and concept of using the frequency of the sound. However I have to close the page and reopen to play again, after reloading once the sound doesn't play and when I find the ruby it says my speed was infinity pixels / s

Neat! Though, some visual feedback would have been nice. Maybe some indication of the path I've already travelled? Possibly a timer?

simple game, like the concept, but I think some improvements can be made:

- button to refresh in game
- accept asdw to move (I didn't read the cursor keys part and it took me a while  )
- fix the "Infinity pixels/s" to show the real speed
- the first movement, no matter the key you press (even non cursor ones) is always to the bottom-right, and with a bigger movement than a regular key one
