Granny Goes Deep by universeflow
Granny Goes Deep is a fast paced arcade-style game where you play as Granny and attempt to find your little Jimmy by falling down a hole, going deeper and deeper.
You can move left and right with the arrow keys or [a]/[d] and use your walker to catch a fall and prevent fall damage by pressing [space] before landing on a platform.
We made this game including all assets, sound effects, voice lines and music from scratch during the jam. The only external asset we used is the SilomBol font for the pixel art text in the UI.
We are all pretty new to game dev and jams in general. This was our first game jam and it was a ton of fun participating in LD48 and making the game - we hope you have as much fun playing it as we had making it!
Features: - Fast paced arcade-style gameplay - 18 different platforms to find while going deeper - Heartbreaking story and cinematic intro scene - Humorous voice lines and texts - Random farts - BINGO!

Great game :) Very funny, especially the intro. I loved the voice-acting and music, too :D
Otherwise solid work!
Also maybe make the camera show a little bit further down during a longer fall since the falling speed rises?
Cool game overall!
I enjoy these kinds of fast paced arcade games, but I wish there was a bit of a "look-forward" camera as she's falling so I can gauge when the next platform arrives :)
Also, love the sassy remarks in the end screen. Best I could do after about a dozen tries

fun fact: that message you posted was from some time when everything in the game was broken and unity just showed 999+ notices, 999+ warnings, 999+ errors :D
