It works well to manage the energy from weapons and the mining laser, while trying to avoid tentacles and mine gold as long as possible.
I would prefer if the weapon would one hit enemies, it’s a little annoying trying to spam pressing when they are closing in on you. And maybe if the stamina would recover faster when you do nothing.
Other than that, very playable game!
I got little trouble with the tiny fonts, especially when you want to read what your commander has to say in the middle of action. But I have already tired eyes from the LD weekend.
Overall I was impressed, started with nice starfield simulation, then onwards with very nice tunnel run, using such a simple but smart way of implementing it - like old games used limited hardware capabilities to make 3d feeling with sprites.
And optional but detailed tutorial, included as a checkbox in main menu? You are a hero.
✔️ Very intuitive gameplay, picked it up real quick.
✔️ Good difficulty curve.
➖ Sometimes when I got hit, it would go into a chain reaction of getting hit, and I would almost instantly die.
The game reminded me somewhat of the tunnel sections in starfox. Really well done, great job!

@gnevesdev: Deselecting the tutorial in the menu will give you only one short dialog before the action begins. Thanks for trying it!
@barelyevengames: Thank you so much for the very kind words and feedback! First time I ever saw someone I don't know play a game I've made. Felt a bit surreal but in a good way. Cheers a bunch for checking it out and including it in your stream!
