I should say for posterity, Matt objected to the game being named "Matt's Marvelous ____"

Nice and chill experience, got to listen to some tunes and dig up stuff. The shadows of UFO's and dinosaurs was a nice touch.

It took me a while to figure out the mechanics, but once I did the core gameplay loop is pretty good. I kinda wish there was a way to reroll the upgrade, maybe at the cost of some resources. Right now it feels like once you get an upgrade that requires diamonds the game is pretty much over because they're too rare to find before you run out. Maybe my strategy is just bad though :)

Fun mechanics and nice graphics but it's a bit confusing what you should be doing at first.

Pretty neat! I like the core gameplay loop, and it has a lot of potential! I just wish it was a little more clear what the goal was!

Dug around for a while then decided to see how deep I could make it. Got to 511 before getting tired of making the trip. It's a solid combination of some tried-and-true concepts, and it works pretty well. Some larger goals would really round it out.

Enjoyed playing it for quite a while. Couldn't tell if there was a bottom to reach, because i tried to find one for a good while. Pretty fun :)

@nanda there isn't technically a bottom, but because resource patches get more rare and larger there is a theoretical point where too much radioactive waste will block you off. I'm glad it kept you entertained long enough to try to find one

I really liked the mission/quest/upgrade system. Not sure what to call it. It was cool that you could find stuff on one run, and remember where it was when a given mission came up.

It would be nice to be able to skip upgrades you didn't want. The drill was slow enough already that slower drilling felt more frustrating than useful.

The music player is an odd, but cool idea.

nice game!
The texts and instructions were maybe too small
Apart from that, it's a solid entry, congrats! :)

Nice game, very addictive. I liked the "upgrade" mechanic, even if sometimes you have to travel alot to find the right resources. After a little bit I realized that passing through your older pipes doesn't consume "fuel". Really loved to explore the depth and fill the map with tubes :-D

I liked the combination of incremental game, random quests, and exploration/digging, but for some reason nothing increased my sensor radius

It took me a while to realise what I was supposed to be doing here. I think it could benefit from a bit of visual feedback. For instance, the red ore - not entirely sure what it was! - seemed to give me extra pipe pieces, but it wasn't untile around my tenth run through that I realised that!!
Otherwise, it's a nice take on the Snake mechanic. I like that the pipe you laid down in the previous run allows you to dig down further on your subsequent runs, and the collection of multiple ore to get powerups is pretty cool. It's not dissimilar to a Snake-like game I worked on a while back, but never finished... makes me want to pick that up again!

Nice! I enjoy these kinds of digging games a lot and the simple controls were nice to use. The copper was *very* hard to see initially and I wasn't sure if the tech in the top-right was something that actually improved my vessel or not; especially the "slower digging" felt a bit curious (I realize now that it was meant to help with collisions, though). I could see this being extended into something very nice :)
