Description:

Insomnia has plagued you all your life, but lately, it has gotten worse. You haven't slept in days and you have become desperate. Most sleeping pills don't work anymore, but tonight you try a new kind, a magic kind. Things, however, don't turn out like you thought they would.

Insomnia is a game about sleeping, dreaming and getting lost in the strange world of nightmares.

Controls:

Control your character with WASD.

Press E to interact with your surroundings.

Press T to continue the dialogue.

Credits:

All 3D models, scripts, sounds, and music where custom made. Except for 1 skybox.

Due to our philosophy of making every bit of the game from scratch, including the source code, the timespan was tough and the game remains a little rough. However, we had a great time making it and we hope you enjoy!

Can't find my sleeping pills for the second objective... I thought maybe I can atleast see them from the mountain top, but well, atleast we have the view

Camera keeps tilting to the left which is pretty annoying. Otherwise very pretty game, good job!

Skybox in the first part was charming. Sleep and Sheep is a nice take on a theme!

I like the art style of this game a lot, it's very minimalistic with great color schemes. I ran into an issue though on the "deepest level of sleep" (I think i might have fallen through the map or something). The gameplay wasn't super engaging, but the visuals made up for it. Solid game overall!

Also, I love the title screen, that's a great way to make a menu.

Nice work! I think adding in some extra mechanics with each dream level would have been nice. For example, maybe gravity is a different value in one, you move faster in another, controls are inverted, the camera has some extra effects on it, the sheep start moving around are talking to you or something. Just an extra bit to keep the player invested in what the next stage might hold. Could also then introduce more puzzle like elements for finding those bottles. Great entry though, tons of potential here!

while the game is solid the mouse sensitivity is really high, the area is also very large and sometimes it's annoying to find some of the pills. Finally the red nightmare level lags when I look forward which makes it nearly impossible to progress. It's a solid game but there is definitely room for improvement.

The game was pretty nice ^^ The 3d graphics looked good. The dreams maybe could have had a few more unique elements but I understand, that you maybe hadn't enough time for that. Unfortunately my notebook couldn't handle the nightmares and I couldn't escape them with so much lag. The idea was pretty cool though. Really Cool Entry :)

Cool game. The mouse sensitivity was a bit too high and the game lagged in the later stages (the waking up) which made it unplayable, but the first part of the game was enjoyable.

Could not play the red level (too laggy) but previous levels were relaxing to walk around. I wish the levels changed slightly with each dream :)

the sensitivity is a little too high for my liking still, but definitely an improvement, the red level is also playable but still a tad bit laggy

Wow, great short game! I really liked exploring and trying to find the pills on the first and second dream, and when I reached the top of that mountain I was thinking if I could just jump on a cloud and start exploring from there! I would be so cool.

I thought that the second part was very on the nose tho, I realised what i needed to do on the first nightmare but the game just flat out told me what to do. I would like to try to figure out what to do before the game spitting out the solution to me.

Besides that, great game! Really liked the aesthetic and overall how the game looked, and I loved to explore this little dream land.

Honestly, I tried a lot of things against insomnia, but nothing worked for me. I took pills, took hot showers, ventilated the room, turned on the sounds of nature. Too bad it didn't help. But as soon as I found [weeddelivery](https://weeddelivery.io/) it changed everything because the herb helped me sleep better. I started falling asleep a lot faster. And I'm glad that sometimes I can order cannabis this easy and have it delivered the same day.
