Cool clicker game, impressive level of polish.

The leaderboards are a welcome addition and a timer really makes it an enjoyable experience for people who are not that much into clicker games.

Congrats on your entry !

this is super cool! I like your idea on how to incorporate the theme, and I really like how everything is constantly moving around, even in time with the music! It really helps contribute to the kind of "frantic" atmosphere. The online high scores are also a nice touch.

Great entry! The music set the right mood for the frantic tapping (mobile) I was doing. The buttons are a little small for playing on mobile.
I don’t quite understand how people are getting those high scores lol. I need to try again! Again!

Adding a competitive aspect to a clicker game is a great idea and it works wonder. The UI animation and audio is great and actually help focusing on clicking as fast as possible.
Very well done!

A clicker with online leaderboards? Basically as addictive as drugs :D Great job – super polished overall, the music really adds to the frantic feeling, and the the idea of going into debt is a really funny and cool take on the theme. Great job!

I love the way the music changes near the end, it's really great. Would've been cool to see previous tiers mattering a little more in the late game, especially clicking manually. The polish here seems like it was definitely more in focus than the content, I'd say. Which, well, with such a limited amount of time to make a game, that tends to be the case. Anyways, nice job! Really clean and frenetic and fun. \o/

WOW this is super fun. my fingers are so done after just two rounds of rapid clicking though. but the leaderboards is a great feature -- how do people get in the millions??? love the music, the animated pixel art, the sound effects, the unique take on the theme. great job!!

This is simple but very addicting game! I like the strategy with the subscriptions/loans, and this is overall a very fun experience, congrats!

I really love the whole "everything moves" graphics style, it feels quite dynamic. On the tech side, the games runs smoothly on my very old Ipad (with iOS 9 or 10), congrats for the optimization!

Out of curiosity, does your HTML5 engine (that I'm eager to try!) rely on a existing layer for rendering (like pixi.js for example)? Or is everything made from scratch?

I'm asking because many HTML5 games no longer run on my Ipad, so it's cool to see a 2021 HTML5 games that still support it! :)

@drludos Thank you so much! The engine is build entirely from scratch and rendering is all done using WebGL directly. It's only using WebGL 1 to make sure older hardware supports it. :)
Glad to hear my optimizations are paying off and the game still runs on older iPads! 😀

Fun and frantic. I really liked the aesthetic of the dollars flying up in the air as you purchase as well as how everything seems to flow together. I'm sure after a couple plays you would come across a close to optimal solution on the buying the different tiers and then it would come down to execution. But then again, I would imagine that in Ludum Dare you have a bunch of game designers who are playing your game with at least a passing interest in game theory!

awesome little clicker game, I have no clue how some folks were able to go above 2Mil, but props to them! Lovely music and really fun to see the multiplayer competitive aspect to it. You've picked my curiosity with this new juicebox game engine! :) Hope to see more from your team!

This is very fun, ive been ignoring this clicker thing but if thats what they are about, I can now see the charm! I see a fellow Deep in Dept interpretation and I certainly like that xD, very good implementation on your side, its simple but fun and polished what more can I say?!

Oh, 2 things why is the amount of each Item not showed? (it only appear when hovering) and why not item that increase the per click money, click spam rapidly feels useless (unless im missing something!) Nitpicks aside, it was a great experience. Don't know how the top scores were reached though!

Not only do I really like clickers, but I really like ones with timed challenges too. This is fun and I love how condensed the experience is. It's a fun little math/optimization problem, and I ended up playing it ~7 times because you added in that high score board.

The presentation of menu-based incrementals are almost always dry and bland. I am SUPER impressed you managed to make this genre something fairly exciting to watch in motion. If anything, you deserve a lot of innovation points just for that.

A great game that certainly kept me busy :)

Really really fun, played it quite a few times! Only suggestions I would give are to maybe polish up the graphics a bit (I found it a touch hard on the eyes at times), add in something to indicate when you can click again, and potentially have hot keys for buying stuff (moving the mouse really broke the flow of the gameplay for me).

Awesome job!

This is a small but very polsihed game. The UI is very lively both in terms of animation and in color.

Loooooooove the game, we had a similar idea while brainstorming (love me a Cookie Clicker :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:) but ended up with a totally different idea
The only thing I would improve is to have some food, phones, loans and more of the things you can buy wiggling around the screen
Great job!!

![firefox_SoEKbYY4xR.png](///raw/519/z/41d84.png)

You mixed my passion for short, fun-sized arcade games and mindless incremental clickers! The fact that this is a time limited clicker just injects schadenfreudistic dopamine into my soul.

Everything on the game is great, I'd say. The music is vibin', the graphics serve their purpose, and the loop of buying upgrades is intuitive and not unreachable. It has the best of idle clickers without having to wait forever for upgrades.

Granted, I clicked to the best of my abilities in the first playthrough, so subsequent ones weren't that special. But it's still one game I'd like to have around to see if I beat my personal best every now and then (instead of going for the leaderboards. Those people are debt monsters.

A great submission! :whale:

Nice entry! I was looking forward to see some game with the 'going deeper into dept' thematic. The whole animations are very juicy and satisfying to play. It's also nice that the music gets more intense towards the end, and also you need to decide at some point when do you stop upgrading your 'powers' and rather let debt stack up (although it's a bit weird that you need to give away debt to get those commodities)

Nice game!

A simple idle clicker perfectly designed for a jam.
The interactions feel very polished, the balance feels nice, and the timer is the perfect idea to make the game short enough.

Good job!

Was excited to play this one! The race element makes things pretty interesting and having to choose between whether to get a better upgrade or "save" your money adds another layer on top. Kinda wish there were shortcuts for the upgrades so you don't have to stop clicking. Looks are cool and it's addicting. With more content or some kind of "campaign" mode, it could be even cooler! Sad to see some people cheat the leaderboard (?)

Overall a nice game with nice sounds and graphics :)

While I prefer clicker/incremental games without a timer, I think its use here was good to keep the game short and frantic. The leaderboard was interesting, but I have no idea how a human can really get those top scores.

Broke a million! My main problem with the game is the clicking mechanic, its a very good take on clicker games having a timer and all to give it a sense of urgency and I like it a lot. The clicking mechanic should give you more money each click as the game progresses, as the skill ceiling for the game is basically just who can time their upgrades the best. I still think it was one of the better entries I've tried for sure, and thought it was excellent, good work!

I really wish you will never know what a debt collector in real life is. Because he will make your life a horror story. Better pay your loans on time or don't take them at all. When I needed a car and lacked $1000 for that, the shop offered me to use it for free for one month. But I prefered to apply to car title loans in clarksville https://zebrafinance.com/clarksville-tn/car-title-loans to borrow this money and pay the vehicle’s full worth rather than getting into some dubious scheme. So better if you just do what I say.

Taking a loan is not really a big problem. I was checking a lot of different services and finally decided to operate with https://payday-loans-cash-advance.net/CO/ online payday loans colorado which is a really trusted service. They are providing you with a special information and giving a loan really fast. I totally recommend their wonderful resource. I used to go to the bank and after some several canceled requests, decided to use this service. it is easier for me.

Going through a number of time taking procedures such as credit checks, paperwork etc. can be straining when you https://www.unitedfinances.com/1500-loan-guaranteed/ need a loan quickly. Traditional lenders include such procedures in their approval process which is why approaching them may not be the best idea.

A few years ago, I had a big problem with my brother, who was addicted to gambling. So, he was already about 27 years old at that time. He worked and had a family and a house until he tried that damn games. And he lost everything in a short time. His wife left him. He sold the house to get the money until he woke up with absolutely nothing left. Good luck to his friend who had the contact of https://Liverpoolmoneyman.com so that he could get his house back. And now everything is fine. It's a pity that he understood too late that the games were only ruining his life.

Obtaining a loan can be challenging, and everywhere you go, you try to be pleasant or not so polite when you deny. Then, it is ideal to locate a location where you can avoid being terrified of this and where you won't actually object. Consequently, I discovered a location like this one here: https://starloans.net/articles/need-a-loan-been-refused-everywhere/ . As a result, I currently have no problems at all and am happy with the way you can apply for a loan here without having to meet any prerequisites, and they will undoubtedly try to assist you rather than reject you. I wish you luck in that.
