Great game, especilly i liked the mood and the art, but at first the fire rate of gun feel strange, because you don't expect that it will shot like this, but then becomes interisting going further and findind out what happened here. Good job!

I am a bit stuck in the game as i can't seem to get past the 3rd enemy. They run toward me so fast I don't have enough time to kill them :( (maybe the movement is tied to framerate?)
Visuals looks great tho

@tombuston I'm sorry to hear that,, you can try spamming fire the entire time? since amo isnt limited

have played for about 15 mins and still couldn't understand how to pass third monster, they are too fast and I have a feeling that I don't know something important about controls. Maybe some hints how to survive will helps there.
Despite of that really appealing graphics and sound design.

real great graphics and mood setting here. i agree that some of the enemy placements were hard to deal with, especially when they were placed right at/after a screen transition. i made it through, i liked the ending :)

@hiki911 @squigglez thank you for the nice feedback!! im sorry about the enemies i tried to make the game a bit challenging to make up for the short gameplay T-T

I like the visuals and the idea of this game but it was really tough! Couldn't even get past teh first enemy, it felt like my bullets didn't do anything. Would love to see this game expanded on though.

I just played a game which I thought would have the best graphics this jam, now I have to give you that title. the gameplay is not quite up there with the art though. i think the main problem is that theres no jump button and the enemies are too fast. Seriously beautiful art though :)

@mikew Thank you!! I coded the bullets to to have a limited range after shooting, to give the player a reason to get closer to the enemies. after all the feedbacks i think it may have been a good idea to add check points for every floor :face_palm: thanks for the feed back!

The sound and art are great. But the gameplay needs some polish. Your character and enemies move way too fast especially with limited gun range. I died on the 2nd enemy because I ran into the enemies trying to get close enough.

@tengusheath do you think it’s too late for me to fix these issues and reupload it?
I think the problem is I have a slow pc and for me the enemies weren’t that fast
Edit: i fixed the speed and added checkpoints :)

Cool looking game, I liked the dark atmosphere and it kept me intrigued till the end. I also liked the detail of always shooting left no matter where you are facing, since the enemies only come that way.

My suggestion would be to add some skill expression through crouching or jumping for example (and making enemies that require you to do so), otherwise it becomes a game of just spamming the spacebar. But I understand that this requires a lot of time and 72 hours might not be enough.

Good job!

Pretty, charming pixel art! It's a very difficult game though, you get little time to react, and there's not a lot of feedback when hitting the dudes. It's atmospheric though, would've liked to see more!

art style is really good and the overall mood quite effective

gameplay wise, the spammming of the space key did in fact harmed this mood a little bit.

nice entry tho, and well done ;)

The mood and the ambience of the game is very nice, feels spooky and tense. The gameplay is simple but it acts as simply as a way of allowing the player to move forward and experience the story, which works well. Good job on your entry!

Yo! This is a charming entry with a lot of intrigue! Loved the Atari style graphics and audio. Only thing I felt slighted on was how enemies could see me from another screen, but it wasn't a huge deal (this is a game jam after all lol). Love how you spun the theme! Great entry :)

This one's really cool! It's simple, but nice. The controls are a bit odd, I don't really have any finger ready to press "P" when one hand is on the arrow keys and the other one on the space bar. The art is really nice too, and the color choice is awesome. Gj!

I love the art and aesthetics: the abstract really enhances the horror. The enemy designs are great, and the levels have a surprising amount of detail. The camera lapse makes things a bit tricky but the progress save does not make it frustrating. Great job!
