This is GORGEOUS. I absolutely loved the look of this whole game. And those bell sounds were great! Super polished, too. (Only trouble is I didn't get the start button to work! But pressing one of the movement keys did the trick.)

Echoing the previous commenter, absolutely beautiful looking game! I also had the problem with the start button but it wasn't much of an issue. I got 40 on my first run though. I kind of expected the blobs that were moving in a circle to kill me, but they didn't seem to. Just a beautiful relaxing stroll to the center. Just what I needed after the LD! Great job!

Hands down that finishing animation is a flawless beauty, the game itself is also not worse than the final It was a truly remarkable & pleasing journey -just like a pilgrimage- to the center, the sound design with the simplicity of art :ok_hand: Congratulations!

Beautiful game, just a shame it only has one kinda short level, I would have loved to keep playing.

this game was a super nice play! it's short, simple, and sweet like a good jam game but the graphics are also very beautiful and fitting for how minimalistic they are. great job and i'd love to see more of this game if you ever update it for a full build! :)

Beautiful game, I especially like the ending zoom out and animation. I wish it would have been a little bit longer because it looked and sounded great.

This game is no more than it is

and no less than it needs to be

it pleases my poet's soul

and soothes my troubled mind

it is beautiful

and it is calming

congratulations.

@teenythanos I mentioned this on reddit, but thanks for the review, and I enjoyed your game as well. Sorry about the start button issue, I have an idea of why that would happen, it's a shame that we spent too long in between test builds. I may be able to fix it.

@pandepic agreed that the game is super short. I think just one more layer would have done a lot to make it more complete. No real excuses for this honestly, just that after you start building things it can be tough to modify them on a short timeframe. Glad you enjoyed it.

@Leonvano That is what we were going for, just a short, pleasant experience for all the fine LD folks out there. Glad you enjoyed it.

@justcamh very helpful my man-- specifically my brother and I talked about how you were thinking that you would have to collect the little red bits to progress to the next area. That is absolutely what we should have done, and I don't know why it never occurred to us. Thanks for playing!

Lovely graphics and sound design. Maybe there could be more of a game in there but it doesn't have to be. It works fine as more of an interactive piece of art.

This is stunningly beautiful!

The art is so good, the ending is gorgeous, the particle effects are very nice.
I know the audio is not yours but it is very very well implemented in the game.

Thanks for the game I loved it 💕

If there was something to make the game even more better for me it would concern the movement and space feeling a bit restricted. I guess I would have liked it even more with just a bit less walls and more freedom, but it might be personal taste, and it is already very close to perfection as far as a jam game goes!

Great job!

28. Apr 2021 · 17:25 UTC
@doot Your point about the movement is well taken. It is a little restricting for such a chill game; faster movement in a larger area along with a dash move might have given a nice sense of freedom. Thanks for the feedback!

Very nice and beautiful game - I love the chill tune and the clean shapes. The gameplay itself was pretty straightforward, but had some nice different plays in each layer.
Also can commend the choice of adding a ring of open space that made me go wheeee full throttle.

The reveal of extra dimension at the end is great.

@jokerbomb when we made the last part we were just thinking about adding color and some interaction, but seeing it on the screen we were also immediately reminded of a ball pit. Which, of course, is a positive thing.

This was a lovely little experience, I really like having short delightful games to play looking through all these entries. Was the audio not original? I ask because I really enjoyed but its not something I was able to rate you on. Anyway it was really pretty and I liked the weird mood the blue spots gave me.

@bea Glad you liked the audio! I really tried to use something that would be thematic and which has a nice vive. However, the audio is from Audio Jungle and is not our own-- we are just a programmer and an artist.

Definitely one of the more unique experiences I've seen so far in LD48, beautiful concepts that would definitely make for a nice and relaxing puzzle game. Love the sounds and music and overall vibe. Beautiful work!

Amazing type and style of game, very unique. Just one thing that bother me. When the player touches the objects and make sounds. I think its to noise with the music, idk. but very good game, congrats ;)

Very nice game!

The mood, art, and setting all blend together nicely.

I LOVE the music track you picked. Best music selection I've heard yet in LD48.

For one improvement suggestion: Don't include a Quit button in the WebGL version. It doesn't make sense and just breaks the game.

i like very much the minimalistic vector graphics approach and the hang drum music. They set a zen-like atmosphere / mood which i love. The idea of seeing the whole world from a big scale and then zooming closer and closer to center is beautiful.. maybe like we were going to the center of ourselves? Just guessing. The hang drum notes when collecting were just right and in tune with the rest of the mood. I'm totally happy with the game.. maybe my only "complaint" would be that i would like the ctrls a bit more responsive.. but thats minor. I've enjoyed playing very much.. i feel much calmer and thank you for that.

Oh! i saw in the credits that you are two brothers.. and i definitely relate to that cause i'm also collaborating with my brother in this ld. anyway you don't care about that.. Great job guys!! Great entry, Im happy that i found your game, cheers :)

The game is beautiful (color, shapes and particles are all perfectly blend together).
I think the game miss challenge, but I'm not sure it's the path you want to take.

Good job

This is a lovely game, it felt like being part of what I can best describe as a musical stained glass window. It is also easily understandable and the animation at the end is just gorgeous!
