Guide your dwarves deeper and deeper into the mine. But beware, dragons lurk within and a firey end await heedless wanderers.

Your dwarves will automatically run towards the entrance to the mine. Your job is to guide them by strategically throwing crates to block their way.

There's still a bit of debug art to make it clear why agents are behaving as they are. Also, it is entirely possible to get into a position where you can't win the level; if that happens to you, escape to the menu and try again.

Controls:

  • WASD - Move around the map
  • Left Click - Select a dwarf (must have a crate)
  • Right Click - Throws the crate held by the selected dwarf (must be in range)

This game made me nostalgic for the old Lemmings games, pretty neat concept. I thought the last level was pretty difficult.... and then I realized you could just speed up the dwarfs so they runs fasters than the dragons can hit them ;)

@blaster391 The speed up mechanic was a last minute addition because I got tired of waiting for the dwarves to catch up to my next move. Unfortunately, I didn't also figure out a way to speed up the dragons. Glad I was able to remind you of Lemmings though.

@twoshoedlou The link should be fixed now. If you still can't get it to work, use you can find the download in the Releases section of the source code link (as @blaster391 suggested). Thanks for letting me know about this!

I liked the graphics and the music. After a couple of tries, i could finish the levels just making my dwarves go faster. I would explore some mechanics, for example like giving some dwarves a defensive role (like shields) and others an ofensive role (arrows) and face those nasty dragons!. It has so much potential, it is a very good entry for the compo. 48 hours is a great challenge!!
