A simple little score chaser, where you pickup pirate coins while trying to avoid all the jellyfish. The deeper you get they more jellyfish will start to show up. How deep can you get?

I could totally see myself getting addicted to this! I always enjoy seeing Pico-8 games, and this one's really nice. It feels good to play and there's a lot of audio and visual feedback that makes it feel nice!

Always love a good Pico-8 game. Your art and sound are fantastic and I love how weighty the diver feels once he reaches the top of his jump. Really give the feeling that he is covered in heavy equipment. The amount of air (or in this case water) maneuverability is really good at making it so that I don't feel like it was the games fault for me slamming into a bunch of jellyfish. Also I gotta say intentional or not I love the Doom reference as a game name.

Really fun game. Conveying the feel of the heavy suit is particularly well done.

Interestingly, I did find a spot on the left where you can escape the level. I'm still falling as I'm writing this and at 3000m almost everything is jelly.

This game is awesome! 5/5 in everything, and made in pico-8 too <3 but there was a bug that I turned invisible and it kept scrolling

Played it for a bit without jumping (look I'm not proud of myself for reading and then immediately forgetting the instructions okay?), and it becomes a very different game that way, kind of puzzly. But fun with jumping as well. :) Also, looks and feels very nice and atmospheric.

beautiful tileset! nice work. I also escaped out of the map through a hole in the wall, which was fun. there are a LOT of jellyfish down here 0.o

(btw, I think your itch.io game is embedded at a bad size; it's skewing the pixels in the font if you're not playing in fullscreen. If you change it to 750x680 that should fix it -- that's the [recommended size (search for itch.io)](https://www.lexaloffle.com/pico-8.php?page=manual))

Nice simple Faller! I really liked the screenshake and sound when landing, it made a huge difference in fee. Great graphics and fun audio as well.

I love PICO8 games. And your game is very well done, with graphics very well done by the engine and music very straight. The looping is very small, but that's okay. Apparently the physics is also right. Some squids appear in places that they shouldn't.

Congratulations to the team.

Nice polished score chaser. Liked the art and thought the sprites had a lot of character which was cute. Was fun to try and dodge the jelly fish and see how far I could go before I was overrun.

Adorable art! I felt like I could have used at least one more tool for avoiding the jellyfish. There were some situations where sitting and waiting a while for them to bounce into better positions was the best thing to do, which was a bit boring.

I really liked your entry. I had never really played a pico-8 game up till now, only heard of those. :)

You captured the deep dive exploring nicely. :) The music and sound fit together well and the jellyfish were terrifying. I had sudden flashbacks to the water levels of super mario levels I played as a child.

I was not very good though, I always died a bit after the 240m mark, after there the number of jellyfish started to increase greatly. ^^

I'm always impressed by PICO-8 entries! Great job with the graphics. The game feels a bit small, but it's a lot of fun. Nice work.

Fun game, I found the jumping to be a bit difficult to control. Great art and atmospheric music, well done!
