I was enjoying the game A LOT with just regular bombs. That's a testimate to how fun it is, but also that there should be more pushing me to use special ammo. Both a.) Challenges in the level that require specific special ammo and b.) UI that helps remind me I can unlock this cool stuff. The different effects are super fun (I wish I got to see them all), but spending more money for it kept me from using them... Might be worth exploring some other ways at putting them into the player's hands. For example, maybe limited, but free ammo would work better?

Extremely satisfying gameplay, and the music is SO good! I loved getting a big combo of bombs off. I would have liked an explanation of how the UI works for the ammo types, it took a bit of trial and error at first, but I managed to figure it out and had a lot of fun.

Super fun game! One thing I noticed that was a little game-breaking is that you can drop bombs in the short time between the end of a level and the start of a level. If this is not desired, it may be worth disabling bomb drops between levels.

That was a fun game. Played until level nine and got stuck (and ran out of money, the 1000 for level restart are a bit scarce for the larger bombs). The giant nuke bomb got stuck too, that one was hilarious (soo clunky!). Nice music, good levels, very entertaining. Very good entry! Great work!

So fun! Wish some levels had more stars so I could get all the good bombs faster haha. This was so great though!

I had a really fun time with this! It has a lot of replayablity with the fun physics interactions and special bombs. It feels very arcade-y with every detail, especially in the sound effects, the song, and the sprite work. It's clear this game was made with a lot of passion and skill. Every aspect of the game seems calculated and unique. The special bombs feel extremely '2010s sandbox flash game' in the best way possible.

This is a fun arcade style physics-based mining game. I could play this for hours.

Fun game! I had some trouble aiming to have a box fit into a small hole. I feel like the balancing for the prices of the special bomb could be better, but nobody expect the balancing of a game to be perfect in a game jam :).

I played quite a while. Great entry overall

This is actually a lot of fun! I thought it was a bit of a joke, when I saw it was tetris but you had bombs. It also didn't seem too hard at first, but the difficulty really ramped up; the non-flat indestructible blocks and the fact that the targets aren't at the bottom really help! I never manage to stockpile much money, so it looks really balanced as well.

I think some sort of time pressure might help (but that might just be me, I'm sure a lot of people like to have more time). It also looks like you can drop bombs on the very left, but not on the very right (they bounce off of something at the top and drop sideways). Losing also uses the normal transition back to level 1 which is a bit surprising (I thought I'd gotten the shot ). Some of the bomb icons are also not obvious.

I found myself playing for 10 levels before I even remembered that you could unlock yet more types of bombs. That's my fault, the panel was right there, I was just so focused! I also found myself needing to bounce a bomb off of another bomb's blast, which was really satisfying.

The music is good but it looks from the description that you didn't make it, so I didn't rate that (am I wrong?)

The game has that old-school browser game feel and cool sounds! It's satisfying to get chain reactions and even more so when clearing the whole screen.

It could just be me, but I find it a little hard to aim. Even if my mouse is in a precise spot, it feels like the bomb goes off at a slight offset. Maybe it's just that the hitboxes are a little bigger than they look.

I wish you could preview upgrades/bombs before buying them, but I really like that they are there and that there are so many to choose from!

Good job on your game!

this is such a good game. i agree with some other folks here that incorporating the other bomb types would be good. it was so fun drop bombs and watch them explode. really nice game. thanks for making this.

I had the most fun with this game out of all the games in the jam! The bomb effects are just great and the gameplay is so fun. The graphics and audio are not amazing but it does not take away from the fun.
