Nice game short bit of fun, good audio though graphics could do with some work but all things considered great work for a game jam.

I really like the atmosphere this game brings when diving deep, the sounds were really well done for the deep, definitely gave me the feeling I was in a sub.

I expected some kraken or other sea monster to be lurking down there for me.

The lighting and sound effects made it feel like you were really diving into the deep ocean. But the game felt a little easy. Maybe the mines could move back and forth a bit so they are harder to dodge.

Lighting and sound effects for diving on point.

Loved the atmosphere! It really felt like we were diving deep under the sea. It got very tense the deeper we got. Great fun!

I liked your game! It just felt a little bit too easy.

Brilliant. This has fit the theme so well. I think the mechanics work quite well together to support it.

Congrats!

The mood of this game was great. The sound and the lights really added to the ambiance of diving deeper. This game reminds me a lot of motherload on miniclip.

Some things to consider to make the game harder would be
- The deeper you go the more pressure your ship experiences and if it doesn't have a strong enough hull it starts deteriorating. This would incentivize me to buy hull (which I didn't need to to finish the game).
- Add moving obstacles to make the light mechanic more important. I was pretty much able to avoid everything without needing to ever upgrade my light. If something snuck up from behind me then I'd find more value in having an aura of light around.

A little short, and a bit easy but loved the atmosphere! Maybe adding some additional sea life to avoid or moving mines could have made it a bit more challenging?

Hi! I really liked your game. I think the concept is creative, and the mechanics are easy enough for all kind of players. Just as a suggestion, I would recommend that some UI indicates that the mouse controls the light direction, because I left it unused in a side of the window and thought the light just worked in one direction XD. I realized later and I thought it was a good implementation. Overall, congrats, I think it's a good game.

@rkhadder Thanks for playing and the thorough feedback. I actually have all the logic for depth dependent damage done. I spotted a stupid bug at the last minute and decided to comment the whole thing out, as I also did't have any indication for the damage. I also definitely needed to leave some time to balance the settings I have in place already.

@eonarheim @tengusheath @testudor @silkypantsdan Reading your comments I realize the game feels easy. Sadly I didn't have time for the suggested features, but I definitely could have tweaked the settings that I already have in place. I just left so little time for game balance play testing.

@juanj7 Thanks for playing and for the suggestion.

@kaleido @panurge @kingofnova @jason-harris Thanks for playing and the good words.

I'm looking forward to playing all of your games. GL all.

I like the simple design, it was fun to go to the end, but it would have been better if it was a little bit challenging, I didn't have to buy any hull upgrade, maybe add sharks or some big moving creatures to increase the variety of enemies.

Overall a good game, good job.

nice game, I really liked the ambiance and the graphics. I like the way it becomes darker and darker the more you go deep. I feel like you could have make a cool game even without the "pick coin" gameplay, just because the atmosphere is well done.

congrats for your entry!

Nice game. atmosphere was great and the whole thing was very smooth. like poeople say some moving enemies would have added a bit more tension or maybe the sub having a bit more drift in the controls. But for a chill time I thought it was just right. good job!

I think the submarine should take damage when going to far down without hull upgrades. Now I could go straight for the big money which made it a bit quick and easy. But good game otherwise!
