I really like the idea. I would love to see a more fleshed out version of this with a lot more control over how you design the level before the boss fight.

Great idea, however I didnt undrstand what kind of strategy player needs to deploy... could use work and be a great twist on a genre, as intended.

Interesting idea with the 2 phases, just that the hero AI is somewhat lacking :) And what is Bowser doing in there…

I love the idea! It's a hard design to pull off. After the third level I started to just not place any defenses. They all seemed pretty useless. The "enemy" can be killed pretty easily once you figure out how to walk backwards.

I really did enjoy the time I spent playing this game! It was fun watching the "enemy" run through the level and walking backwards as Bowser is hilarious!

Ha, took me a while to figure out the controls for the trap placement screen. Interesting concept!

I liked the idea. Maybe you can improve the graphic part even if it gives a style to the game. You can also change the amount of money you earn between the stages. There is also a problem with the hitboxes when the boss does fire.

Reminds me a lot of the game that I did for "You are the Villain". IMO it needs to have a lot more variety, such as more obstacles and more control over the level layout. The Hero AI also needs to work smoother, but to be fair, this was made in a short amount of time, so it's understandable. Also, it got boring really quickly, but fun at first. It could actually be a really great game with some more polish and variety.

I really liked the design of the game. It's a cool idea to design a level and to play the bad guy. I could even see this being a multiplayer game where one player plays the hero and tries to go through the bad guy's traps. Awesome work, keep it up!!

Excellent concept and use of the theme. Well implemented for the time that you had. Would definitely like to see a more developed post-jam version of this.

Nice idea. My main problem is that in the boss fights, the hero just ran from one side of the area to the other and back, so I just stayed behind him and flamed him to death.

Great concept, though I had a little problem undertstanding it, there could be a bit more instructions in the trap placing stage. Other than that, it't not bad
