The visual polish is crazy !!! Great job really it's beautiful. I think the game would have benefited from having one or two other types of obstacle to make it a bit harder because it was overall a bit too easy I think. In any case, I'm really amazed on what you achieved in only 48 hours, I'll check your devlog and try to learn a thing or two !

Thank you so much for your super nice review, @fdk! I agree with you, some more obstacle types would have been really great to implement, but as you've said, it was only 48 hours, so I was happy to get something in at all! :D

Somehow, you've made a submarine (fish, obviously) adorable. Nice and simple, very pick-up-and-play friendly, great concept for a 48h timeframe and very well executed with that trademark level of Icoso polish.

Artwork and Sound gives a very chill mood.

Felt very relaxing at the beginning and then difficulty began to ramp up, really engaging and enjoyable!

Nice!!

Cool game. Music was really nice. Would liked to see more mechanic related to theme. This is mechanically the same as a top down game and does not really depend on the deeper theme other than visually. Well done.

Controls are very tight which is good in a game like this. Good pixel art also. Great job.

I can tell you really took your time with the graphics, and they look amazing! The bubbles and little fish in the background give the game an extra layer of depth. The controls were easy to master and the game was fun to play. If you plan on continuing to work on this game, adding some moving enemies would be amazing. Nice job!

Very relaxing and serene. The UX is also very very polished. Even the menu screen felt "right".

Fun relaxing game! I like the little fishes and bubbles in the background. Menus look top-notch! I think the music started to feel repetative after some time, but definitely added to the game!

Great job! :)

I do love the little fish in the background, and the bubble trail. It looks great. The music is nice, too, though it does get a bit repetitive after a bit.

Also I love the controls on the sub. It's just floaty enough that it feels like its in the water but not too floaty to be frustrating.

I like the way the levels show the ocean in a very colorful way. The movement is tight and the hitboxes are ok but maybe could be a little more forgiving.

Really nice experience, a difficulty curve was defintively there. The mixels between UI and gameplay are weird but anyway cool graphics! Can you play and rate my game too, would be cool

I liked this game , and the music . The gameplay is simple and there isn't much content , but somehow , all 10 levels still feels unique , even if they all use exactly the same mechanics .

Music is very smoothing, and the atmosphere and vibes of the game is really comforting. the gameplay is little questionable but the does the job :D. after all, nobody expects a perfect game in 48 hours ;) .

also, nice devlog :)

Hi! Nice and cute game (the little fish were so adorable). I liked how you introduced the game mechanichs with a good difficulty curve. I agree with some comments in that it would be a great idea to aply some depth-related enemies/obstacles. But overall, great job!

Wow this is a great game. I saw your video about it first. The gameplay is simple but solid and smooth. The difficulty curve is great. The graphics are also great. This would be an awesome speedrunning game. Fantastic job!

Honestly the music fit the game so well, and it was so catchy! I found myself nodding along to the whole time! Really nice work! :D It could've perhaps done with another obstacle type or something that happens, maybe water currents that can push you around a bit! But for the compo this was more than amazing!

Very nice feeling game. The controls felt fluid and responsive. Excellent color choices too. The only critique I had is that in one of the very early levels there was a section where I built up a bit of momentum and thought I had a bit of space under a stationary wall of mines but I ran into one that was covered by the seaweed decorations. It's a minor gripe but it felt unfair at the time that the obstacle was covered. But other than that it was nice to just kinda bop my head to the chill music and zone out to the smooth gameplay. Well done!

Amazing game! This was my first game jam ever. The controls were nice and I loved the music. I found several hidden crabs and I think it would be cool if you added a way to collect them.

Fun game, I liked the music and the movement was smooth. I also made a game about a sub avoiding mines, great minds think alike ;)

Simple, but entertaining for a bit. I liked how you gradually increase the difficulty level. The game could use some more mechanics, for example whirlpools, that move you around or maybe sharks that run charge after you in a line. The art is quite well done, the music loop though could use more variety.

Super solid gameplay and visuals, however the level designs feels a bit niche, especially in the beginning when I would have liked more general teaching levels. Overall great work!

Normally, I hate water in games. It's wet, it's cold, and it gets everywhere.
This game, however, has none of the things I despise about water levels.
The controls are tight, the physics don't have that annoying drift, and there are no bonkers size fish that chase you around and try to eat you.
Fun little experience, and my only little gripe is that I would have liked to see more mechanics introduced. But it's a jam, so I get that it probably would have been difficult
Satisfying experience. Good job!

Simple, but nice game. Especially the audio and graphics! Like @mind0o said, this should be a great speedrunner game if you put a timer.

Besides last level, I only died once.

Looks great! Love the pixel art. As others have mentioned, it would have been nice to have another mechanic, but given the time constraint I think you did a great job. Well done!

Chill vibes, great artwork, and the levels were solid. I felt it was a bit limited on mechanics, one gimmick would have been interested to have to keep the players even more on their toes, maybe having an oxygen running down or something? Not sure! Great work either way, love the small touches like the swarm of fishies in the background.

Lovely artwork and theme. One suggestion would be to maybe slowly introduce some advance mechanics as the levels go by ! But its still a lovely game.

Really fun game, completed it nicely designed. The graphics are really nice, i think it would have been better if the lighting got darker on the character as you progressed through the levels. overall great entry.

Polished game, the visuals are nice and the movements/physics feel so smooth. The objective is simple and straight forward to learn. I think the sound effects could be improved, especially the "portal" sfx, but this is just my personal taste more than a real suggestion. Thanks for the entry!
