Miner Rescue by mausimus
The year is 1884 and you were just going about your daily shift in a deep iron mine down south when suddenly an earthquake struck and sealed the main entrance! The tremors are not stopping so you have to get out ASAP!
Luckily there is another exit at the bottom of the mine so without hesitation you jump onto the nearest mining cart and brace yourself for going deep... and fast! The only way is through.
Enjoy a retro-style arcade game where you ride a mining cart downhill.. in the dark! You know you always wanted to!! But don't forget to STOP to pick up fellow miners!

It's kind of strange that A is only used once at the start to release the brake. It seems like it does nothing the rest of the game.
Also on the web port, F3 is a bad key to use, since my browser things I want to use the Find option.
This is an excellent entry. Good job!
@corbeng thanks for the feedback, I had to make the brake quite strong so it was possible to stop quickly to pick up miners (no reverse gear... ;)

I'm mainly left confused, however, at why there would be daylight at the end of such a deep mine shaft..
So innovative man, the controls feel really good.
I still suck at this grrrrrr
That said, as far as some critique goes, I did find the sound to be a bit on the annoying side (particularly the music at the start). Similarly, I wasn't a huge fan of having miners show up right next to obstacles you need to lower your head to dodge, because it can be difficult to multitask (slow down/speed up, pick up miner, duck) when your first learning the mechanics. Finally, I also found the draw distance to be a tad too shallow for my taste, although that will probably differ from person to person.
In any case, great job!
