An interesting game! The intro was neat, but for me could have used some subtitles - I felt like I lost a lot of audio because I wasn't able to pick up what all was being said - then again, I have bad hearing and can't listen to anything without subtitles, so that could just be me!

There were a few times I ended up accidentally glitching into the walls, but that was pretty easily remedied by just walking out of the nearest wall I could find, so all good there! I really liked the ammunition changes as well! Given they could go through walls they all felt pretty strong, but it felt good nonetheless to watch all of the effects shooting out when I threw things!

Good work!

@briibot Thank you for the feedback!...yes text would help the intro. I believe I just fixed the glitching into the walls collision issue and am going to post an update soon - thanks for pointing that out. My engine is pretty rough so these jams are great to help me find what needs fixing!

I love the setting and intro! Plus, voice acting!

Having more particles as you go deeper is a very nice visual touch.

Love the ending!

Very nice jam game.

Ha! Thank you very much....basically a "deep" theme as excuse for a platformer is my take!

@nyanpierre You are probably right! I was sort of testing my particle system and probably got carried away. Than k you!

Loved it. And that's about it ;)
The narration was awesome. I like the changes in music and color for each biome. Good pacing for a jam entry also. well done!

Interesting premise and story, though unfortunately whenever I would click the play button it wouldn't work so I would have to play through the instruct button every time. I also found myself clipped into the geometry at one point after falling. Huge props for coding slopes in a jam though, the particles are also very nice

@thx Ah, sorry about that....and thanks so much for letting me know. I think that is an issue with my engine and the screen resolution that I haven't worked out. Can you tell me what your screen resolution is?

I'm not sure how to reply to comments admittedly though the screen resolution of my PC is 1920 x 1080

@thx OK thanks...that is very strange that the buttons weren't working at that resolution..not sure what that could be but glad you were somehow able to get it started.

@thx And the issue with getting through the geometry is another problem....pretty much I had to invent a collision system for my tile map on the fly, and it was done in a pretty weak way. Still baffled by the buttons though...will look into it.

I feel like I just surfaced from a trip crazytown. In a good way. I attained the knowledge and now I am.
The uhm ... collection of weaponry is fantastically amazing. It made me realise I want more of this kinda silly.

The jumping was a bit hit and miss. But manageable. Other than that - top notch job!

Nice game! I liked the sloped look of the platforms, although the ground detection fights with it sometimes. Cool use of TTS for effect. I agree that subtitles would have helped with hearing some sentences.

Interesting to frame religion as a weapon against the singularity lol.

Interesting concept, though not my type of game, I think it is a solid entry. Well executed mechanics and cute graphics make it a nice experience.

I think there is a bug. When I got to the end I couldn't make out what the meaning of life was. If you could just go ahead and tell me that here that would be great :D. In all seriousness I enjoyed the playthrough and thought the game played well. The music was good and the gameplay was flawless. Overall a solid entry.

Nice! The harp playing when I converted people was a nice touch! A pretty solid entry, could have done without the long winded exposition at the beginning tbh. Great work overall!

@pat-cleaver Thank you for the feedback! I agree about the intro length as well...at least you can skip it but it really was too much for what the game actually is!
