The same level and enemy types over and over got a little boring, but the shooting was pretty fun and the art was well done.

This kinda reminds me of a game called Smash TV. I love the music!

An interesting concept on top down shooters! Only being able to harm them at specific weak times is pretty clever, and can be expanded upon. The enemy's bullets are way to fast to dodge though, and the player's attacks only being in the 4 cardinal directions are a detriment. Other than that, fairly good.

I really like the sprite art on the enemies, and the soothing jazz that speeds up during fights was a funny detail. The gameplay was straightforward, but having to time your shots with the enemy vulnerability spiced it up a little. Having to reset the whole game every time you die is a bit too punishing, especially considering the long wait times between levels. Overall, a pretty solid game. Nice work!

I like the art style, especially the elevator environment (and its door closing) and the character/enemies sprites & animation.
The narration & elevator mood were nice, and the "Have you ever been stuck in an elevator ?" line made me laugh.
Also, giving the option of infinite lives was a good idea for testing purposes and something too rare in jams.

Gameplay lacks some feedback though, especially when we either get hit or hit an enemy.
The enemies being vulnerable only at specific times was interesting, though not obvious at first (could be corrected with proper feedback).
Having a 2nd type of ennemy would have been nice too, to have a bit more variety in gameplay.

Here's some bugs too :
- Audio lines don't stop upon skipping text and end up overlapping with each other.
- Small visual bug at the door of elevator, with a grey line in front of enemies.

Really amazing art and mood! I enjoyed the entire experience and it felt really cute! I like the theme you went with of delving deeper into the subconscious and being in an elevator! I only wish you guys had time to add a little bit more audio cues for the bullets! Also felt the firing could be better if it was multidirection! Overall really impressed, the little minions really got me hooked

The difficulty curve is a bit more of a difficulty verticle line, and try as I might I couldn't get past the occipital lobe. I really liked all the small details like the narrator's commentary and the elevator music. Could do with some enemy variety (there might have been some past lvl 3 idk sorry), and balancing but overall really creative idea.

I love that you explored going "deeper and deeper " into a mental state within your game as well . I love the concept, I love the battle music, I love the art style, I'm a fan of twin stick shooters ad i'd put this in that category , I wish the shooting was just a bit faster i feel like I did more dodging than shooting ( which maybe is the point ?!) . Also that loudspeaker voiceover is excellent !

A very nice idea, the elevator theme is cool.

Bullets, Enemies, getting hit could benefit from audio/visual feedback.

Also thanks for adding the "infinte lives" toggle.

Really liked the voicelines. ^^

Its a fun game, I love the sound effects for the elevator and the transition between the two music tracks, however the shooting felt very unresponsive and it was very difficult to only be able to shoot in four directions, pretty nice overall though

Very fun game! You have a nice touch to the narrative, the sounds are cool and I loved the art style - It kind gave me some sort of "pokémon" twisted vibes in that elevator. Great work!

Good entry! Cool art and animations, the mood is created! It seems to me that there is not enough impact, some kind of return from your actions. Basically, the problem would of course be solved by the sounds of hitting the enemy, the sound of the enemy hitting you, etc. There may be a slight shake of the camera when receiving damage, or somehow highlight the edges of the screen, in general, some kind of visual or audio feedback from actions. But still very cool, great job!

Who would have thought that riding an elevator could be so much fun! Had quite a ride, because I did not take infinite lives, but still made it through 4th and 5th floor with one heart left. Was an awesome experience.

The character animations are well done. Good job on the voice over. An you really captured the elevator experience with the environment animations and the music.

Great stuff!

Very cool game, i loved the graphics and the whole vibe of the game, the elevetaro music was very well used in combat, there could be a bit more feedback on the enemy when they are hit, and the colliders werent that precise at times, but an overal fun experience good job!
