wow pretty hard I like it

I like the art and the controls, but jumping after releasing the key took me a while to get.

I liked the graphics! I agree that jumping is a bit confusing; the first jump happens on key push and the second jump happens on key release

Really nice! I like the jump-glide-jump mechanic, it's more bat-like! Great aesthetic.

Nice little precision platformer. The jump on release is interesting but takes a bit to get used to. Not sure how I feel about it, definitely adds some challenge. Wish there was some sound, maybe the mechanic just lacks some feedback.

Difficult but still fun to play. Some music and sound effects would have been great. Overall a pretty well made jam game.


I love how the player controls, super snappy and with the hold, wall jumps, double jumps... Very well tied to the bat design. Pixel art is crips and legible. Great job !

Nice little game, I love the art! It was hard tho, maybe the jump could be on space also? The wall jump was a little tricky cause it push the bat very far I think. Also I love how the bat closes her wing after second jump and falls like a stone, that gave me funny scenes :smile:

That was pretty great, made it to the end.. it wasn't so hard, just about right, challenging in places but not enough to rage quit. Controls were pretty good, would have loved gamepad support though, graphics were nice in 1 bit retro style, would have liked the option to make the screen bigger to get a better look at them. Gameplay was good, you got a lot of mileage over that interesting little platformer mechanic, was only missing some appropriate sounds to go with it. Great job.

Difficult but fun. The controls were pretty simple and intuitive which is this game's strength. I like that taking damage just resets you to the beginning of the room -- it's more forgiving that way. Of course it would be better with some audio but the mechanics are solid.

Awesome little action puzzle platformer with good controls. I actually enjoyed the level design very much, it's hard, sure, but it didn't feel too unfair. The jump / glide mechanic is very creative, I'd love to see it in conjunction with other platformer mechanics. The 1-bit art is right up my alley, so I absolutely adore it!

What put me off a bit is the fact that the jump is only on "W". I think for this type of game it's important to have the jump key farther away from the left/right keys on the keyboard layout. I'd suggest adding alternative controls in arrow keys + Space bar if you're looking to improve the game in the future.

Overall very good entry, great job!
