Game for LD48 from 'tiny nity team'

ilya096 - integration
Nishin - 3d assets and animation
AshiPhoenix - art and texturing
Heiden.BZR - programming
A deep-sea mermaid has been captured by poachers, but was returned into the waters after the bridge collapsing. Now that she's back, she has to find her sister and flee, before the pollution from all the trash and leakage catches up with her. If only she weren't this hungry...
W - swim forward
Mouse - move camera
LMB or E - eat fish
SHIFT - swim faster
Look for "targets" - the lantern on your head will light when you look the right direction
Pay attention to your Starvation bar. Catch fish that spawns near a specific type of coral. Not all types of fish are equally good for you
Remember about the Pollution that's moving slowly from the surface. To save yourself from it, you'll have to dive deeper and deeper.
The Pressure will not let you submerge too quickly. Take your time, do what needs to be done, and you'll be able to go deeper.

just ... target spawned 17000 units away from me.... that is a lot of swiming
Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the gameplay. I felt the world too big for the amount of content in it, so swimming was boring for me. Which is sad, because swimming is what are you supposed to do in the game most of the time. So, after the 3rd bottle spawned even further than the second one, I had to stop playing. Maybe it's just not my genre, though.
The main challenge of the game is that fish gets harder to stumble upon the deeper you go, so long distances are also supposed to make it more challenging this way. We'll balance it in the future, though. Thanks for commenting!
The squid makes you hungrier because it's full of plastic and very skinny D:
It also makes your pollution bar rise (because of the plastic), and that's what we meant when we said not all fish is equally good for you. But thanks for commenting, we should do it more obvious somehow!
