This is really cool. Very nice graphics and sounds for the compo. Gameplay is not super deep, but is still pretty engaging and I was too wowed by the look and feel to notice.

There should be a basic gold income that's comically slow. I feel like it's too easy to end up confused as to why you have no gold income :/

This is GOOD! I love your take on the theme "deeper into space". The voice acting took me by surprise. "We need more data!" Im gonna be repeating that line forever.

@the-neon-shark I intentionally priced everything such that no matter what you buy you'll always have enough starting gold left to buy at least 1 Alchemist to then start getting an income. That's a fun idea though to have a "comically slow" income! Maybe you get fractions of a coin per second that you can't even spend on anything! haha

Very solid idle game, the ship graphics are great and it's fun to watch your ship get ridiculously long. The little voice lines add a lot!

This was fun! I feel like I broke the game very quickly but then kept playing anyway? I guess that's idle games. Nice work!

By the end of it, my ears were really hurting. But I guess that's the cost of going 10 million km into space. At the start of the game I enjoyed figuring out the economic tension between the data/gold/distance mechanisms. At one point, pretty early on, the game kind of felt broken. I couldn't see my ship anymore, it was just a thin line of pixels, and they were always shooting at one enemy ship at a time. I didn't even figure out what the enemy ships were doing that was problematic. I guess I got too rich too fast. Though I did enjoy being rich, and "breaking" the game, in the end, the zapping noise of the laser is what made me feel like I should quit. Maybe I should also clarify that it did feel cool to break the game, kind of like throwing cards in the air. Thank you for the game.

Kept playing until my browser crashed
It would be nice to see how many of each upgrades we've bought e.g. 123 Fuel Tanks.
The upgrades which consumed gold didn't change so it started to get a little easy

@ubershmekel thanks for the feedback! Yes the laser is in my opinion the worst part of the game. It's the only sound I used a synth generator for, as opposed to recording myself. It was supposed to be a placeholder.
I never got around to it but ultimately I wanted the ships to shoot at you, destroying sections of your ship, but that would have made it less of an "idle game" I supposed.
I would have loved to get around to making a dynamic camera so you still see the action when the ship is absurdly huge.

@jafcraze Great to hear!! haha! Yes, it would be nice to have a count of things. Yeah I was conflicted about whether or not the modules should change price like the upgrades.

I played this game way longer than I should have haha. This type of gameplay loop really sucks me in. Overall rather simple, but I would personally play an expanded version of this game for hours. I just like seeing numbers get bigger lol.

The speed effect is very convincing. I like the kerbal graphics, but i couldn't see them any longer after 1M km. The transition from liftoff scamble to figure out the game and the clicker experience after is mabye too sudden.
Overall it's a clicker game which gets much more ridicolous much faster than other idle games :)

@therdre There is no limit except what your computer can handle! I spent no time with optimizing so theoretically you could play until your computer runs out of ram and crashes! lol

Looks really cool! I like the visuals of the ever expanding space ship and the voice lines are great. Nice base for a clicker game but needs some balancing and clearer sense of progress... I think... I don't really play many clicker/idle games :P.

It become a psychedelic mess preatty fast :-D
I think that the upgrade could scale as well as the tecnology, becouse after the first minute or so it become a sort of a clicker

nice art, and sound (untill it become to noisy)

@silkworm-sweatshop thanks for the compliments and feedback!

@kromeboy yeah it would be nice to eventually unlock more expensive things to buy in addition to making old things more expensive.

@audiobusting haha yes!! You got to the kill screen, er, I mean, the win screen! You win! Thanks so much!

@threeli I'm glad you enjoyed it! I wish it wasn't quite so open-ended. I wasn't "planning" to, but I am considering it. I'd like to!

some aspects were a little confusing, like what the defense turret was for given that the ships that surrounded you didn't seem to hurt you at all. overall was pretty fun, enjoyed the modular ship component, and the sound effects were funny!

Very fun clicker! The growing rocket is an awesome feature and really brings the game to the next level!
The growth is a tad too exponential I think, maybe the price of upgrades could grow like for technologies?

@traffle sadly I didn't get to finish my intentions for the ships. I wanted them to shoot at and destroy sections of your ship.

Had a great time - like a clicker game that requires proper engagement to keep up with your fuel supply and keeping an eye on your turrets! Absolutely love the idea of having to be really paying attention while the numbers rocketed up. Could stand to be a bit harder, but your core gameplay loop was fantastic. Loved the Warcraft 3 style voice acting as well!

Glad you sorted your WebGL woes!

@szymski that's fair. :) I wanted more time to increase the stakes by having ships shoot at and destroy you, as well as goal milestones with an ultimate goal of going faster than light and breaking the universe. lol

Really fun experience! The voice acting is top notch  Since the growth is exponential, it feels like a clicker game. I think defense turrets are kinda over powered. Having one or two seems to be enough

Cool concept! Sci-fi / fantasy crossover has a proud heritage! Nice to a see a nod to it. The theme had a sort of Dune vibe to it - collecting something weird from the universe to achieve incredible things. I wasn't sure why I was equipping my ship with weapons - was it under threat? As soon as I equipped the weapons they seemed to start firing at things, but I had never been attacked prior, so I'm not sure what was happening there. Above a certain level it wasn't balanced - I was just able to continually able to grow every aspect of my ship unhindered. The ship visuals were obscured by the lines of light after a while. Additionally, it was so zoomed out I couldn't see my ship. I don't think there was an end-goal? I imagine a future version with levels where you have to reach certain distances corresponding to moons, planets, or other outposts, and facing unique threats. Overall, I really liked this as a concept. The underlying architecture is obviously solid, and with a bunch of balancing and the addition of some other mechanics it would be a really great game! Keep up the good work!! :)

@tim77 thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback! The "combat" was the only thing I had planned but couldn't implement in time. There are these Human ships (instead of aliens, eh?) that start to appear and fly near you. Your guns will shoot them down. I wanted to have the Humans shoot at your modules destroy them.

There was no end goal, but as one of my friends put it, "you win in your heart." ;)

Haha, had some fun with this even though idle/clickers aren't my usual thing. The voice acting was a big part of it, and very charming! At least, until I installed defense turrets and destroyed the audio of the game. First I had to take my headphones off, but then when there were enough I had to straight up mute my computer. I don't know who those people were I was murdering, but I sure paid the price! ;)

But once I had the machine rolling, the ultimate goal seemed attainable, so I really had to do it:

![passing-C.png](///raw/81b/z/42204.png)

By the time I sailed past the speed of light, it was no big thing.

@pkenney I'm glad you enjoyed it and appreciated the voice acting! I'm sorry about the laser sounds, and confusion. I think maybe I need to stop using Bfxr for sounds cause those are always the sounds that bother people in my games. The people you were shooting were the humans. ;) Thanks so much for playing and offering feedback!

Well done getting the unspoken goal of traveling faster than light!!!

It has been scientifically proven that there is no more amazing combination of words that: "dwarf", "space" and "alchemy" ;)

It was fun to play! Amazing how long this game can go on without breaking, nice job!

Only the laser sound effect was a bit annoying after I bought a lot of them. I also think increasing the cost of the rocket modules with each purchase would be a good idea, as it was easy to get so much gold that I couldn't click fast enough to spend it.

Great graphic, and fun gameplay too. I'm not sure I needed all that gold though. After a couple upgrades, I was just accumulating more gold than I could use. I guess it is good for looking at tho :)

Nice graphics, thruster, speed increase, explosion effects, music, sound effects, and voice acting for purchases. Each purchase visibly adding a section really enhanced progression. The game felt very satisfying to play, but got out of control way too fast - too soon was getting too much data and gold to actually have to think what to buy, just had to continuosly keep pressing all buttons while the ship became a line in a blurry of stars. Maybe modules should have scaled similarly to research upgrades. In any case, had a lot of fun while it lasted.

@nonumbersgames I'm thrilled you enjoyed it while it lasted! Yes, in hindsight I totally agree I should have scaled up the purchase prices of the stuff on the left. I don't know why I intentionally did NOT scale those prices.
