Badger Break-In by Knatt
Two companions; Benjamin the Badger and GoldenEye the Chamele-gun join each other to embark on an adventure. Together they will traverse the depths of the Slice Beetle Queen's lair, to steal her sweet Royal Honey. Use Z to Jump around, and use X to command GoldenEye to strike her tongue in front of her. Up and Down are used on climbing, and Left and Right arrow keys will move the character Left and Right.

The honeycomb jump mechanic and boss fighting were very difficult for a bad player
Also the artstyle with the flat colored shapes fits very well to the badger!
Run animations of the player and the insects are very nice too!
The game seems fun, however, with my keyboard layout it is not very convenient to play (x and z are at the opposite sides of the keyboard) so I did stop at the first boss.
Also, I think I got a bug: I got hit by a red bullet while using the chameleon tongue for double jump, and I started to fly. I got stuck on the ceiling. By using the tongue again I have been able to stop flying however.
Also the trajectory of the "whip" is not very dynamic, could be a little more direct and straight like castlevania? It would feel better?
The character and animations are really great! I really loved everything about the badger, and the chamele-gun is a neat idea! It's pretty clear you ended up running short on time; I had a look through the source and saw the other powerups you didn't get a chance to include. Still, what's there is a pretty solid start!
Great work on your entry!

Animation is good. Maybe I woul put the jump on up arrow to feel more natural, but in our game we put it on space XD so I can not tell anything ahah
A,d maybe the gravity of the guy more heavy.
Otherwise efficient gameplay with the tongue of the cameleon (it is a cameleon right? I see frog in comments ^^)
Thank you for you game!
I think it was a little difficult to control, didn't feel quite responsive enough. Especially with the honey jumping, and the low gravity. I did manage to defeat the boss after several tries though - definitely enjoyed that! However think there was some glitch where the character just kept running into the royal jelly and didn't go any further? Not sure if something was supposed to happen.
Great entry!
