@patvanmackelberg Thank you! The bugs happened because I was dumb and didn't make a good universal event manager and rather worked out the state based off a million if statements.

cool game! there are a lot of bugs tho so it was a bit hard for me to tell if i needed to advance in a certain way or if i just couldn't advance because of a bug. but i enjoyed the dialogue & i loved the character art!!

@muzakefron Thank you so much! I am aware of the bugs and if I had time would have completely redid the event manager to make everything much smoother and simpler.

Pixel art was great and well animated. A couple of times I got stuck in a conversation loop where I would try to end the conversation by pressing E and it would just start the conversation again. I also got stuck in the bedroom with the doors closed and had no idea what happened and couldn't figure out how to advance.

Definitely has some potential to be a fun adventure game if you worked out the bugs. Great job.

Points for taking a unique interpretation on the theme and for adding unexpected humor. Some of the text scrolled too fast at some points which made it so that I either did not know what I was chose, chose the wrong thing, or just missed out on dialog which made me go "Wait, where did he go? Why did he go?" :P I like the concept and would to soo more of of this game polished out with sounds and music. I like to get the full picture of the story you made. Great job!

not a common engine chose for this game but the gameplay is rather good. Nice Job!

A lot of charm in this, but yeah it's buggy. I guess the order you do things in might break the game. Can not figure out how to give Dave his damn lemons. Got a couple endings at least :). Definitely wish there was some party music to go with the mood.

Fun game! I really like the humor and the art style. After talking to everybody I was finally stuck in a dark room with doors closed so I could not go very far in the game, but the multiple endings is a cool touch (I immediately went back to the car at the beginning ).

@jason-wilson Thank you so much! Game jams and bugs go together like strawberries and cream :p

@prodigalson Thanks! I didn't wanna just do the "going further down" premise I figured everyone else would be taking. I wasn't 100% on my own dialog system worked due to making it in a midnight stuppor so it resulted in it not working someitmes. I hope to polish this up a bit once I get the time

@silkworm-sweatshop Glad you liked it~ Dave and his lemons worked at one point... about 14 hours and 7 characters before the build your playing however.

nice job! I loved the humor here! (even if I got called out for just turning around LOL!) i did encounter a few bugs like getting locked in the bedroom, but over all the game was a lot of fun!
