Weirdly I loved the ambiance. It's simple but there's a fantastic mood in this. Gameplay is kinda broken as I won the game doing nothing. Nice job

On Ubuntu 14.04 with JDK 1.7:
The main yeti.jar doesn't work, after extracting the 1.7 zip the game starts with "java -jar yeti.jar" but it defaults to fullscreen on your main screen with the width of all of your screens added up.
This makes it impossible to play for me, unless I unplug all my Screens.

AMAZING! Purely the fact that it is completetely color and text based makes this game stand out in a good way!

nice ascii art. I do seem to be able to win the game by simply doing nothing, as bodsey says.

Creator's comment:
The "easy" solution, by not doing anything is intended. When giving the game to other people to try it out, most of them acted like monsters and started slaughtering everything.
So the "good" ending is not being a monster. Even though you let the humans slaughter lots of animals to achieve that.

Also thanks for all the feedback. I'll figure out a solution for the Linux issue for the next game. (or I just add a windowed mode, together with a mute button)

I think I may encountered some performance issues but a fun game nonetheless. On the first run I didn't really know what to do and who to kill but after the first newspaper article I figured it out.

Excellent!

I like how you use colour to show intent - attack, call for help. And the day/night phase sets a good pace for the levels. The news reports are nice to read too, ignoring the spelling mistakes.

Good idea combining ASCII characters to make new symbols!

Some diagonal movement would have been nice. Overall good entry!

I can honestly say this entertained me more than many of the unity based games!

The main menu gives the option to play stealthy, not killing everyone, yet this victory is very easily achievable. Maybe some shift to main theme - being a savage - should be better
