Deep Sausage Madness by Ommadawn
TL;DR Instructions
This game can be played from 1 to 4 people. It works with keyboard / gamepad (tested keyboard and xbox controller)
Each level has the same base mechanics :
Each player has to press X/A/B/Y buttons in the correct order as fast as possible, to eat more sausages than the others. First, the contest is about sausages but quickly the friendly friends want to challenge more and more and go deep into A SAUSAGE PARTY MADNESS (the 3rd level will surprise you). Eat all the sausages to go to the next level !

Welcome to DEEP SAUSAGE MADNESS ! :hotdog:
Introduction
So at first I wanted to participate in jam, to "chill" around 3 days, but you know, things happen, so I started only 13 hours ago... So with less time, my first idea was to rush a compo participation :joy:
My goal
I wanted to learn a bit about the last Unity Input management, with PlayerInput and PlayerInputManager, so I decided to make a tiny local multiplayer game !
Tools used
Art : paint dot net
Sound/Music : Audacity / Bitwig / Equator2
Code : Unity 2020.3 LTS with Visual Studio 2017

Overall the game is simple but effective and quite fun to play with other people. If you keep working on it, it would be cool to add some AI players, so we can play it solo, or add more challenger to a multiplayer game.
Also, on a technical note, the game doesn't seem to take into account non-qwerty keyboard. I'm on AZERTY here, and the A is mapped to Q. Its not a big issue though, as pressing other keys (like Q) doesn't make you loose :)

Thanks a lot for your feedback and kind comments, with a bit more time I would have worked a bit more on the "party mood progression" to suits better to the theme, maybe by adding a 4th level between "beverage" and "knife"
Thank you for your comments :) @jakobthequizguy too bad you were alone, maybe adding an AI player would have been funnier... With more time ^^'
I honestly didn't expect anything even slightly dark, but when the music started distorting I knew I was in for a trip.
The controls worked well, even though the ABXY setup isn't as comfortable on a keyboard.
The music was nice an atmospheric, and the art is impressive for the time period.
And lest we forget! I actually had fun playing and felt challenged! Great job!
