Very cool game, definitely on your way to making a nice super meat boy style platformer. Some of the enemy interactions were a bit confusing, but it was fun to jump and dash around

Gotta say it dude, you make programmer art look really awesome. That's gotta be the badass-est capsule I ever saw. Really cool particle effects too! The polish is astounding!

The sound and Visuals of this are amazing. the gaemplay was solid and the visuals managed to take what people consider the most default character shape (in unity anyway) and make it look good just with post processing and partacles/lighting. RECCOMEND RUNNING LOCALLY i got lag on webgl when partacles were about.

Cool polished game !

I just wish there was less backtracking in the levels. Try to offer your player a quick way out when you reach the end of a path !

Since the game is action based, maybe you could make the character go fast after a while so traversal becomes more convenient.

You could also add quick feedback to your enemies to tell when they are going to attack ! It could be anything, FX, a short animation, a texture blink..

Anyway, I liked playing this game ! It's impressive as a solo dev. Congrats !

This is a really cool game.
The controls felt a bit too complicated on keyboard and mouse but with a controller this game plays wonderfully.

I love the aesthetic of this game, the colors, simple shapes and visual effects are gorgeous.

Audio is also top notch. The music is great but not too distracting and really fits the aesthetic.
The Sound effects are also really good and the voice acting is top notch (if maybe a tiny bit too loud).

The tutorial teaches the controls nicely, although I almost dashed through the looking up/down part and I think it might be possible to overlook the hint mechanic. I don't know if it was actually taught in the tutorial I only noticed the text for it during the actual level.

Two small nitpicks: The jump didn't feel perfect when dealing with edges, but it worked well enough that it didn't really bother me. And the move speed is a bit slow when delivering the packages i. e. walking thorugh mostly empty areas. Some sort of sprint mechanic would be nice. But the level is small enough that it really isn't much of an issue.

One bigger issue I had was with the weapon, it took me a while to figure out how it worked. It seemed to me like the "weapon" you activate when the yellow bar is full is some kind of bomb and I couldn't figure out when I can shoot and when I can't. So I activated the "bomb" and nothing happened. I then shot the enemies, but later couldn't shoot anymore. I eventually figured out that the weapon is no bomb but is the shooting and you activate it for a limited time (I thought the timer that pops up over the character is an additional cooldown for the bomb at fist).
This all is also not a huge problem, but I think a different kind of sound effect when activating the weapon as well as having the particles travel towards the player and not in an explosion outward could easily fix this potential confusion.

Apart from that I really enjoyed my time with this game and wished there were more levels.
Great job!

Pretty solid platformer! Great shaders and particles work. I was playing without a mouse, so the attack and dash actions were challenging. Still not sure how the range attack cooldown works and how to use big blast properly (did no damage to enemies in my case) and what the inverted mode does...

I think if you introduce all the mechanics gradually over multiple tutorial levels with a in-game usage examples this could clarify all those moments. I see myself playing this game for 5-10 levels easily!

Also, I was not expecting to hear a real voice over which is really cool.
