You could easily improve this game heaps off-jam, introducing so many more features and stuff. The weapon and movement is overpowered - I won easily by keeping space held and zigzagging from left to right, while staying at the very top of the window.  It also obviously does not feel as polished and especially since you're learning a new engine. But you have a very good strating MVP to improve on.
