# Game:

You are dead! You died! It probably hurt...

The circumstances of your death are scarce, but one thing is clear: this was no accident.

It's up to you to infiltrate the Deep(er) state and figure out who's to blame for this unfortunate challenge to your continued existence.

Use your ghostly powers to possess bodies (human and otherwise...) and traverse levels as you dive deeper and deeper into the mystery surrounding untimely demise.

# Notes:

Our reach exceeded our grasp a bit for this one, so it's a little slapdash towards the end, but it should be completable in 5-10 minutes. Hope folks enjoy it!

i really enjoyed playing this game. i felt the levels were not constructed with a lot of complexity and i never really felt threatened because my ghost never dies. really enjoyed playing it, the boss monsters were really awesome and it felt very good to destroy them. even tho i like elon. :) -- thanks for making this game

Agree with previous comment. While a good platformer is always fun, I was worried that it would never get any more difficult, just take longer.

And of course Zuckerberg is part of the conspiracy!

The Audio is GREAT! There is a lot of content as a jam game. I can see different abilities when possess enemies. It would be even better if there were more variety in in bullets. Great work overall!

I had fun playing the game. as @paulhocker said, it was a bit too easy as you can never really die. And sometimes the background and foreground blended in. Other than that, the graphic were great! Blasting a giant mecha Zuckerberg was fun!

Very cool!
The end came too soon - but still very impressive for a game jam game
It's very permissive and forgiving - great for a game jam game
then again making it more punishing could have helped make it feel longer - more trial and error
Anyhow, great game, loved it - GG :-D

Hey , I love the feel of this game, Metrovania meets Ninja Gaiden meets Metal Gear. Nice mechanic with the ghost moving into the bodies. Thank you.

For having three artists you sure used a lot of material from other games, of course I understands that is sort of the point, but still. Anyway, it was fun following you down the rabbit hole of the Deeper State! Thanks for making it ^^

What a satisfying conclusion! That was great, I loved that I didn't really die, because I was bad at the game. Great humor, amazing art, and incredible that you had a whole team going at it!

Best part, we took all of Elon Musk Bitcoin. Everything was great. Cool Ghost possession mechanic. Made it more fun and extended play. Wasn't sure when I was hitting the bosses until they were dead. Keep up the great work!

The game is nice, I like the idea of controlling the various characters but, in my personal opinion, too many memes, they are annoying D:

i'd love to see this go on longer just to see where it goes. i dont know if its an intentional homage but it reminds me of those old platformers you would get for DOS on PC in the 90s. the game really had the feel thats only achievable with a close team like yours, kudos to you all
