Cool game! I liked a lot of the game-feel-y elements like the particles that come out when you hit the ground, it felt nice to play in that regard. I know it's a jam, and you probably meant it to be hard, but I think it may have come out a little bit toooo hard. I consider myself to be pretty well-versed in platformers and I had a really difficult time with it (I had to stop on the second bouncing snail jump). I feel like if the game was 25% more generous, or had a couple of levels ramping up the difficulty before the ones currently, it would sing.

It's.
So.
Hard.

Good stuff. Love the color. Character is well animated. I am quite sure that you'd tweak the difficulty if it wasn't a 48 hours dev thing. Overall it's amazing how much of a game this already is. Like a mix between Meat Boy and Kaizo Mario. But well above my skill set. Gave up after level 3.

Nice little game, reminds me of Celeste. Cool graphics.

Jumping feels nice, works really well and I found the music catchy. I spent around 15 mins on the game before I gave up. I found it super difficult! But although many jumps were difficult, once complete it was satisfying.

I'm glad you were generous with your checkpoints. Maybe I'll come back to this when I have more time!

Cool visual style. Music was fantastic and suited the old school vibe. Character art was really minimalistic and clever too. Difficulty level was off the chart for me. Not used to games like these so it took me forever to get past the spikes at the start because I couldn't figure out the wall jump. Fortunately I knew it was possible by looking at the gif!

Ahhhh this is so hard. Absolutely gave me celeste vibes. Great job. Music's dope (awesome opening to the game)

Very cool graphics! Maybe a little too punishing gameplay, though :/

Enjoyable but very frustrating platformer, but I guess that's the point, right? I liked the visual style.

I gave up after 20 minutes, while still stuck at the beginning of level 2. I definitely plan on coming back later, though. It looks nice and really feels like I should be able to make progress, despite all evidence to the contrary.

I loved the art style and music. I found it hard but I am not good with precision platforming. Had some super meatboy and celeste vibes. Great entry, really hard platformer.

You were right when you said hard! But it's very rewarding too. And good use of the theme - it worked really well, having a platformer where the goal is to go down, rather than up or to the side.

I missed the checkpoint tile at first, because I thought it was an odd looking spike that was embedded in the ground. Maybe it could be a little more obviously a "good" thing to touch than a bad thing. Great work though, feels fantastic.

Way too hard for my skills. And that is a shame because I would really want to enjoy it some more. But got frustrated after 2 minutes passing the first obstacle. But I'm propably way too old for these kind of required reflexes. I now have to enjoy your speedrun GIF without enjoying it myself.

Wow, really tough! I was not able to beat it, but still enjoyed it. You made good use of the pico-8 graphical restrictions. And a good application of the theme! The controls feel really satisfying while maintaining a challenge. There is a blind jump into spikes after you jump over those first two snails, though.

Nice well executed platformer. I played quite a few platformers for this jam that didn't really try to present a clear challenge, the level design being a bit random but the levels for this one feel very intentional. Props!

I also used PICO-8 for this jam, and I know how hard platformers are to make with it, so this is really impressive! Although I couldn't even beat the second level because it was so hard. Also, I don't like how when you jump, you keep moving in the same direction you jumped in.

I found it too hard for me, very frustrating the low failure window. The visuals are appealing and the controls are smooth, it's just the level design that is too much for me.

Very satisfying and polished lo-rez graphics like Celeste! Especially the death animation. I had to give up at the second level due to the difficulty.
