Fetch Ball!

Play fetch and become the goodest boy! Whether fetching on the park or underground, nothing will stop the goodest boy! 🐕

How to play

Fetch as many balls as you can to your hooman before time runs out! 🐕😀

Controls

Press Left and Right keys to move

Press Up to jump, press again to double-jump

Press Space (or move around) to begin throw

Hint: The ball packs an extra push for the good boy 😉

If the ball keeps on bouncing and rolling, it could fall... "deeper and deeper" underground :laughing:

Congrats on your first gamejam, this is a great first effort. I like the dog sprite. I would have been nice if you could go deeper though. Maybe the ball can keep falling even lower if you're not fast enough.

This game didn't fit the theme whatsoever, and also didn't have the greatest experience. The camera is way too zoomed in, without a way to zoom out, so you have to guess where the ball will land. It was frustrating to try to catch the balls. Also, it has no audio and the graphics are stiff and unmoving.

This was delightful! Very cute. Some music would have helped with the mood but I adore this game.

The guy threw the 3rd ball so high I pass most of the time chasing it! I got it on the timer! I felt like a good boy.

some more physical effect like dampening the ball, friction with the ground would make the experience feels a bit more real!

Great first try, in these type of cases though I would recommend using some animated assets just to make the whole thing a bit more polished!

The game is good, the graphics are not bad, the principle of the game is very fun. The game has excellent sound effects. Great

The art style is simple and cute! (especially the doggo). This game was really fun and I bookmarked it for when I am bored. Sound effects are nice too, good job!

That is a simple game, yet I don't think I ever saw anything similar, and it looks quite polished. Well done ! If it's your first gamejam, then that's a brilliant first one !

Congrats on your first jam!! Here are some notes I took while playing:
- Graphics are.. not good xd but they are charming.
- Gameplay feels really fluid and fun!
- The camera is a little bit too zoomed in.
- It's easy to cheat if you stay close to your owner and jump when they throw the ball.

So, this is an ok entry, playing it is nice, it's really unpolished but that's to be expected if you're just starting, overall I did find it really fun!
